Serious question:
I was looking at some old recruiting news and pic's, How good is Hand projected to be ?
He sure looks the part size wise and granite jaw.
He looks to be on his way to becoming a monster and a nightmare for opposing teams.

Serious question? Really? Do you know how rankings work?
To keep it simple...
Generally a guy who is rated among the top 3-4 players in the country is projected to be pretty good.

You never know for sure, but all signs point to him being really, really good.

honestly, as good as he may be, it's gonna be hard for him to crack the 2-deep rotation this year

No reason to be an arse about it.

Bama's D. Hand question ?
He was the #1 SDE last year, and #5 overall (by 247) or #7 overall (consensus) depending on how you look at those scores. He signed as part of the class of 2014; Woodbridge's graduation is on June 14th, so he's not on campus yet.
A good sign, though, is that he does have his head on straight. A quick glance at his twitter feed showed a note to another recruit that stated he was "grinding from the bottom all over again", which implies that he understands that nothing is being handed to him. He'll earn it.
We'll know better once he's on campus and running drills against the OL. Regardless, there's a lot of hope at seeing a really brutal pass rush this year with him and Robinson flanking the DL.

If there's anything that reveals one's character and work ethic, it's a twitter promise.
ETA: He'll be a beast regardless.

Well, that's what we've got to go on, unless you decide to stalk him and relay back his efforts to the rest of us.

I must have missed the promise. What'd he promise?

He would save sex for marriage

I always thought he would have been better as an end in a 4-3, so I'll be interested to see him in Bama's base 3-4 when he gets into the game.

Are you seriously asking that question? Dude hasn't played a down and was the top D lineman in the country coming out of high school. I'm sure he's projected to be pretty damn good but who really knows until he plays. What would make anyone think otherwise?
