Moved to Staunton, VA - met at least three UA graduates here. Tennessee also has a decent sized following.

I'm from England, couple of years ago someone wearing a Tennessee t-shirt came into where I was working, tried to start a conversation about the team (couple of days after Bryce Brown signed) he looked at me like I was explaining string theory

Never been so disappointed in a fellow sports fan.

Not completely what you are looking for, but I have found it amusing. Jay Jacobs Auburn AD tweeted out an account he thought was AU's defensive end Dee Ford. It actually was a british lady in England whose name is Dee Ford. She ended up getting tons of tweets from AU fans and at first was not liking it. Eventually she started enjoying what was happening. Jay Jacobs offered an apology and offered to send her Auburn gear.

The lady has since become a big Auburn fan and Jay Jacobs really sent her some Auburn gear. It has been a pretty funny conversion of sorts. She is using #War Eagle in her responses now...

That really is awesome.

Stopped at a grocery store in Rock Springs, Wyoming (late 90s) on my way home from Salt Lake City and saw a guy decked out in Alabama gear.

I wore a Braves hat and got some roll tides from some Alabama students in Prague.

They literally had no clue

I'm not going to read this thread, but can someone reassure me that OP has been called out for pretending like Ole Miss fans possess the money or cultural refinement to successfully navigate Europe?

Ran into a bunch of kids in the Dominican Republic last week wearing Auburn National Champion 2013 t-shirts.

A bit off track but the wife & I were hiking way up in the boonies, literally 100's of miles away from civilization in Colorado, coming down a 5 hr mountain hike & half way down here came 2 Tulane weenies. Wife almost pissed her pants she was laughing so hard. This was back in the days of it being a semi rivalry.

Okinawa Japan, was wearing my Auburn gear the day after the 25010 BCSNC. Got a "War Eagle" as I was walking into the Sega Arcade in American Village.
