Yep, it hurt, but watched the season recap DVD that Auburn put out about a week after the NC game. It brought back all of those good feelings again. It truly was an awesome season to be a part of.

Going 13-1, winning the sec, and staying competitive with a more talented roster is nothing to complain about.

Or even correct on the teams listed. Can't make a thread on this board without flaming in it.

Probably had more fun in 2013 than I did in 2010 despite the different ending.

Nothing bitter about it in the least.

2004 was the most bittersweet for me. Last season rocked.

Can you tell me what the consensus answer on ITAT is first, before I answer?

The 2013 Auburn team is my favorite Auburn team of all time.

Sucks we didn't win it all but damn, wanting it after that season almost seems greedy.

I feel as good about this season as I did the day we found out we were playing for the natty.

Had we won it, I can't even speculate how much more awesome and incredible that would be. I guess if I think about that, it sucks to wonder what could have been.

But losing that didn't take anything away from how much of an incredible season it was.

I Loved the 2004 team as much or more than 2013 but 04, 10, and 13 teams were all special. 2013 team were the greatest warriors in my mind though.

Why am I not shocked that an Auburn fan would say their favorite season is the one where they choke away a national title instead of their undefeated BCS Championship one.

I'll pretend this was a serious question because I'm bored......2004 was much more bittersweet.

1988 was a bittersweet season. We were probably the best team in the country but lost by 1 point in the earthquake game and didn't get to play notre dame for the title.

Last year was pretty damn awesome. In my top 3 favorite seasons ever.
