According to Liucci, the reason Davion Hall didn't end up flipping to us is because Briles told him last summer it was in his best interests to drop his curriculum plan, not realizing that what he did technically prevented him from being able to enroll early at any public state school.
Hall was then set to flip as Texags reported last month but found out he couldn't due to the fact that he couldn't enroll early here, basically locking him into Baylor.
Touche, douchebag

Briles is a son of a bitch. Always has been always will be. He will play by his rules long enough to get Gaylor jammed up with the NCAA before he takes his money and runs elsewhere.

What a piece of shite.

I wonder how he feels knowing Hall doesn't really want to be going to school there.

Wow. He and Scott Drew probably get along really well.

Well that sucks. Have fun with Baylor Charlie!

Why does this surprise anyone? Briles is the definition of a POS

"Is that an A&M question"?

I want this info to get out. Someone tweet Hall and apologize that he's trapped at BU or along those lines.
It's too bad his HS councilor didn't catch that.

so... why didn't this kid ask his head coach or anyone else at his school if this was a good idea?

I would assume it's because coaches are seen as all knowing gods and a lot, not all mind you, of athletes are not alawys the brightest bulb in the shed and believe what their dream coach tells them.

Am I the only one who's skeptical of this?

Yep. If this is true, why didn't we stop recruiting him?
Seems really off that we would recruit him right up until he enrolled at Baylor considering nothing in his HS transcript changed. We gave him financial paperwork in November. To do that, someone had to have reviewed his transcripts. If this is true, it says more about an administrative screwup on our part than Briles imo. But saying that probably doesn't support the narrative that Luicci wants to push.
Color me exceptionally skeptical.

Didn't he fill out the financial paperwork for us too?

I don't believe this happened. I could be wrong but it sounds like someone wanting page hits to me. Although I do stand by my earlier statement.

I think it would be the wrong time to just flat out make shite up for Looch considering the whole ordeal with Hamm.
Stuff like this could easily bite him in the arse long term.
