Threw an offer at Calvin Ridley today. They rank him a 3*, which he's lucky to get if his picture is any indication. Rivals however has him a 5* and 11th in country. He can run, tho.

I won't necessarily doubt this staff, but Richmond is a longshot at best. I'll be shocked if he doesn't sign with Tennessee or Ohio St.

That is actually a great point E. I hate the phrase "Iron sharpens iron" but it applies well. Many a star athlete has another athlete that they practiced/played against to thank for pushing them to be better.
ETA:I'm not actually worried about Trooper, but to suggest that he couldn't have gotten AU in trouble is naive IYAM. Chizik's legacy may be having kept us from what might have been.

He has never been listed as visiting Ohio State, he is from Florida and he has teammate committed to Auburn and another who potentially may end up here. Long recruitment and Ohio State loses quite a few from the south over the cycle

I am ecstatic that this new Auburn staff has made it a point to target big, physical, lengthy, secondary players. Nick Ruffin, Tony Bridges, Derrick Moncrief, Brandon King, MarKell Boston, and Khari Harding.
