Oregon HC voted Stanford #4 above Baylor and State.

If you think the Pac-12 was certainly stronger - that's fair I suppose.

It's all opinion comparing conference champs.

I don't have a problem with this. My ballot would be
FSU
Auburn
Michigan State
Alabama
Baylor

No way Bama should be 3rd. They didn't even play a game this weekend. At the best they should stay put with teams having wins moving up past them. Why would you punish teams for going to play an additional game while Bama sat home?

Yeah, I saw that too. I guess I can't blame him since it's his team but I don't see how he can justify it otherwise.

Those coaches are idiots. There's no argument for any team not named Auburn and Florida State to be ranked ahead of Bama in the polls. There aren't any better teams going by body of work and there aren't any better teams using the eyeball test. Do they really believe Ohio State and Michigan State would beat Bama on a neutral field? Do they really think those teams resumes are better? Give me a break.

These votes, especially the final poll, are purely political and self-serving. Conference and team self-interest. Bama is right where they belong.

Don't know what we've done to rustle SOS's jimmies so. They've been rustled for a couple of years now.

Next year it won't matter. The committee picks top 4. Everyone else can just use AP for chest thumping purposes.

The coaches poll was never any good.

James Franklin voted Mizzou 5th over Ohio State 6th. MSU at 4. The love for the SEC is so great.

I really don't care for the committee idea either. Really, the top 4 should be selected using the BCS rankings except the Coaches Poll should be replaced by the AP poll in the formula. That would be the best way to select the four teams in the playoff.
