Maybe the coaches realize that Bama's best win is a 3 loss lsu.

Spurrier tells it like it is, and it is what it is.

They should be 5th. Behind Big 10 Champion Michigan State, and behind Baylor, who also won their conference. Bama needs to stop getting props just for being Bama. They won nothing this year.

That's logic works for me if you rank UCF #6 and Fresno St #7.

If you don't, it means you're already considering schedules and performances comparatively instead of simply ranking all conference champions ahead of everyone else.

That said, who doesn't expect there to be outliers in human polls for all kinds of reasons? That's why there are enough total voters to dilute the outliers.

Which makes you look stupid.

Conferences are not equal, so voting on the top teams have nothing to do with who wins conferences, the fact is 3 teams finished the SEC with one loss.

You dumb SEC fans are falling right into the other conferences thinking as the playoff nears, SEC with 4 to 6 teams in the top 12 but get 1 spot in the playoff because an ACC team goes undefeated LMAO.

I could possibly see ranking them #4, but no way any lower than 4

So long as they voted a 1 loss team who had a significant win on their resume they have voted logically. Bama's best win was over a good but not elite LSU team.

Bama never can win their own division. Not this year or in 20111

How about 2009 and 2012. Oh and also these too.

4 Southern Conference titles in 1924, 1925, 1926, and 1930. Alabama captured the first SEC title in 1933 and has won a total of 23 SEC Championships (1933, 1934, 1937, 1945, 1953, 1961, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1981, 1989, 1992, 1999, 2009, and 2012).

I have no issues with it. Rankings between 3-8 really don't matter for any purposes this season. Anyone promoting Coach A voted Team B to 4 or 6th is probably bored on rainy Sunday with nothing to do or simply trying to pick a fight because their team lost 3 or more games in a season of their greatest offensive output in 50 years and are simply in denial of the inevitable decline of their program.
