You are absolutely correct. They also get riled when an opposing team posts a back story first...

This will take a tone similar to post IB excuses. They were trying so hard to convince everyone that they were still they were still the best team.

Exactly, which only supports Jonsey's post. They also change their argument of the state of their team. In one argument AU was lucky and beat a top team. Then this Bama team was overrated and yet AU needed luck to win...

Yep. They're the world's most self-absorbed fanbase. If a recruit doesn't come to Bama, they believe there to be some divine intervention of sorts for the other team, because everybody wants to play for UA and Saban, amiright?!

I would say almost all big time programs' fans who follow recruiting have an element similar to that. Just look at ITAT and Das Boonker

I would just say that the percentage of Bama fans who believe in this nonsense is higher and that even the more sane fans follow a logic pattern that isn't too far off of it either

Auburn feels "fairly good" about how things have gone with DE/DT Davon Godchaux, the LSU commit from Louisiana, we're told.

Auburn "feels strong" on Smith, he will anounce at 750 CT on ESPN

I've continued to hear good things about Smith and his Auburn visit from people that were around him during it. Extremely quiet kid though so hard to truly know

This is one I'm keeping an eye on for Signing Day. Dude raved about his visit here and has been really quiet ever since. I'm not necessarily expecting a flip on Wednesday -- good luck getting a kid outta Louisiana that LSU really wants, right? -- but I wouldn't be totally shocked either, especially if he doesn't visit anywhere this weekend.

Here's to hoping. Can't ever have too many good linemen.

is this an OV for Boston and do we usually give OVs to players without offers this late in the game?
