Am I crazy to think think this? I just believe that Malzahn is every bit of an offensive genius as Saban is on the defensive side of the ball, or more. You cannot overlook the huge rushing numbers Auburn has put up. And I will admit that Auburn would probably beat LSU if we had to play the game next week.

Malzahn will get his rushing yards. It won't be 300, but it will be a lot more than Bama is used to giving up.

We might beat them but no way do we run all over them. Saban's defenses are too good for that to ever happen.

is it universally accepted in the Rantard universe that LSU couldn't even beat Auburn now? and just a week ago, so many of you thought you could beat Bama and aTm and win out??

If AU can get to the corners, then no. If they're forced to run between the tackles, yeah, you probably are.

I think LSU will lose this weekend.

No one has been able to run on us this year, not sure why Auburn would be much different. Even when AU had Cam Newton, Omac, and Micheal Dyer, they still couldnt run the ball on us.

I couldn't agree with you more. Auburn would run all over LSU's weak arse if they had to play next week.

They will run on 'Bama as well as anyone has this year. But it might not be enough.

Bama shut down Gus' run game with Cam Newton in 2010. They can probably do the same now.

Alabama can be run on effectively, but I think a team has to be successful passing in order to keep Bama's defense honest. With 9 people in the box, I don't see Auburn running all over Bama.
If Auburn can establish a passing game they have a chance. If Marshall does not play significantly better than he did against UGA, there will be no passing game to speak of.
