my guess is he was to the problem and the chemistry is starting to get better. I bet we will see a lot of him and 78 just like we will see a lot of 64 and 79 at RT
sorry just proofed this and I meant to say he was not the problem.

Great. Glad he is healthy.

Saban said the following week, he'd have to earn his spot back. I don't think Lindsay has done anything to lose it back to him.

I'm not a fan of the idea of injuries costing guys their jobs, but you really can't deny that the OL has been infinitely better with Lindsay at center. Kelly just isn't strong enough.

I agree, plus with him being 6'5" might have something to do with that he can't get under the dlinemen from his center position...not too many 6'5" centers in the league.

I think it has more to do with him being 290lbs.

Saban's response: "Well this is awkward."

I agree, if he was 6'2" at 290lbs that might not be that bad but at 6'5" 290lbs thats pretty skinny

Please please please let Lindsay stay at center he is the perfect size and the o-line has just been better with him

So long as he's the backup. Glad he's healthy.

RK coming back is NOT a problem. If it is, you have an interesting definition of the word 'problem'. Saban will play his best player and have the line locked in by the LSU game. If it's RK (which would be a surprise) it because of something we don't know or aren't seeing that he is.
As far as rotating OL - I assume Saban wants to avoid this so the Hill/Shepard situation will be interesting to watch heading toward LSU time.

they took the RS off Hill after game 3 for a reason. He is pushing guys too hard which leads me to believe he will be the starter soon. Probably by LSU and it won't surprise me if he sees more snaps then 79 in the next two games even if he is not the starter

I tend to agree. They can afford to gamble a bit with a freshman on the right side (AJ can see a missed pass block in front of him) and Grant has a big warm blanket in Steen to work with.

He just may win it back. There may be a reason he was ahead of Lindsey.

I didn't know there were so many Offensive Line coaches that post on the rant.
