Great reasoning, and a thought no one had last year going into the game

Didn't we throw the ball 29 times?

This write up was linked on another bama board. It is very detailed and gives reason for us to be confident on Saturday. I am starting to feel a little bit better about this game.
Warning: it's a bit long. He starts discussing Bama vs VT on the third post of the page.

Passed 24 times the whole game. Passed 6 times and ran 5 times on the second drive.

I'm going to throw in with Reauxl and BB and say I think this one is a loss.
I am horrible at pickem fwiw.

I'm excited about this game. It's not often we go into games that there's a real risk of losing. Gets the blood pumping. We win this one, and it will boost the confidence of the young ones on the line and sets em up for a great run at that third title.

Reauxll I guess I'm just such a believer in our staffs tactics
Who's D is better? LSU gave up 27 to TCU (who was ranked but as far as a returning talent on O and at QB was on par with VT especially at RB) and then 17 to UAB...you think Bama would give up either of those amount of points?
The plays were run it was the execution, the strategy and playing the whole game with an insurmountable lead. The biggest issues I saw on the OL were very fixable, things like chipping and helping on blocks and calling a blitz pre-play. The only OL that really looked bad was Shepard in pass pro, feet weren't quick enough but again VT's DL are smaller quick guys they switch and drop coverage and LBs also blitz etc on stunts. I was hoping that Arie would stay at RT I thought he would find a home there because he seems more of what we are looking for at RT and if you remember until Fluke learned he could overpower even in pass pro and trusted his techniques he struggled against speed rushers and fixed his footwork and became a top 15 pick. I have hopes for Shepard bit I still think Arie is our best option there but that is just MHO

dont think they realized arie had all his mobility back until too late int he offseason, would have done more damage to shake up what they had been practicing all year than to put him at RT.

This is bothering you way more than it should.
And by way more, I mean it shouldn't bother you at all. God forbid a fan admit that a loss is possible.

Well I mean...we've got better football players than they do and the element of surprise is in our favor. There's a reason that vegas favors bama on the road, we're a better football team

It's cool y'all don't think Bama is riding into College Station with revenge crazed hell in their eyes and an exact blueprint on how to beat Johnny and Bama will walk away with a glorious blowout victory
You don't dig it that's cool I'm just telling you now that I told you & Reauxll so

And I'll gladly admit I was wrong if you're right.

You're damn right.
Think first half of the '08 Georgia game, against the third ranked bulldogs under the lights in Athens style shock-and-awe arse whipping. I can't wait and couldn't be more confident.
And guys I swear I won't melt if by some stroke of bad luck we lose
but we will not lose

Nobody said a loss was impossible. Just a shitty attitude. Whore.

Yep, A&M is going to beat Bama. Ole Miss is going to beat Bama. Auburn is going to beat Bama. Why? Bama just can not beat a fast tempo offense.
