A fan admitting losing is possible? Sure.

A fan not being able to see us winning? GTFO

It's ok for folks to have differing opinions. Especially when it's civil discussion.

Earlier in the week I've felt the same way.
But with each passing day I'm getting more confident in Alabama's ability to not only win, but to win big.
They can double up on cooper which in turn will leave a db on an island with Jones. Jones showed me he has the ability to do things when he has the ball plus he has jets just like Cooper.
Well if they decide to counter on Jones, that means a LB would be responsible for covering the TE. And let's face it, OJ will have a huge day catching balls and making plays.
Then if they counter our TE, our running game kicks in and Bama will go in to beast mode.

Basically Bama has a lot of talent and options that weren't utilized consistantly in the VT game, among other stuff that posters have mentioned already.

Not worried a bit, this is gonna be the best offense we have ever had.

Gonna be our best special teams we have had, in a very long time.

The D will be one of the best we have ever had.

This will be the maddest, hungriest, most pissed off we have been in a very long while. Prob along the lines of 10' Michigan State. Remember that shite?

The fans are the ones that didnt need a bye week. This is not even a normal bye any way, more like an extension of camp with a road trip for a scrimmage in the middle. Helps us even more.

I could be wrong, but I think we should get ready for Kenyon Drake, Dillon Lee and Landon Collins.

I doubt it will be a beatdown, but I don't have that gut feeling I usually have before a loss.

If I had to guess they will not put 2 guys in Man coverage likely 1 and roll a S over, I'm basing that though on thinking they will stack the box and blitz all they can I just expect a more open passing attack obviously

They lost their starting safety to a collarbone injury....so there's that..not sure if this has been brought up in the thread.

yeah I saw & the way the S will need to be utilized if they go with that gameplan it might not be a bad idea to just sub in your best or most athletic zone CB, not sure how much D talent is on their roster though

I only baswed that on thinking they will do their damnedest to imitate some of the things VT did to dial up pressure but aTm's DL is bigger and less athletic and VT's DB group =/= aTm's DB group not even close they play a lot more zone though and VT only has 1 DB in their defensive scheme that runs strictly zone & the rest are man specialists as we saw

The pressure VT was able to dial up had just as much to do with the speed of their front 7 and the schemes they used to exploit the lack of experience using stunts etc. Simply put aTm doesn't have the athleticism or speed on their front 7

I do as well and I think TAMU secondary will primarily focus on Cooper (who wouldn't)leaving other options for AJ and the passing game. (C.Jones, Howard et al.)

I'm starting to feel more at ease with this game and Bama will win big.

I thought VT had fantastic DB's....especially the brothers. They played great.

Well there's only one thing to do now boys. We have to sit and wait for everything to come out and see where it leads. In the meantime let's strap on our helmets and watch Alabama kick the shite out of every opponent they face

I'm almost looking at this as the 1st game of the Season. The way the Va Tech game went,Coach Saban ran clock for the 2nd half.
I realize the OL looking pretty bad.But once we had a 2 Touchdown lead they were stacking 8 or 9 in the box and we were running right at them.Just running clock.

I'm hoping that the Bama Offensive Team that plays Saturday doesn't resemble the unit that played at the Georgia Dome.

eta:Also we all know how many players Bama lost to the Pro's.There will be 11 players that started last years game on the field for Bama. There will only be 12 players that started in the game last season for A&M playing Saturday.

You serious Clark? You're blind if you think he's all hype. I can't really believe you typed that.

If Johnny doesn't play, do you think A&M has a chance to win?...A&M was a much better "team" last year, and bama still should have won that game after being down by 21pts...the fumble by yeldon, the goal line pick, the offsides by hayes...I think johnny has gotten too deep in your head.
