Not since the attacks on Cam has the agenda by ESPN been so obvious. Manziel has been drugged through the mud the last 5 months and now the surfacing of this 8 month old issue has brought out a full court press against him by the talking heads. To hear Rece Davis attack him and the program while not saying a word about bama and T-town Menswear shows the selective journalism that exist at the network. Clay Travis is the only one to show any parallel in the two stories. I think the College Football World is going to see how the network pushes certian programs and attack others with the same zeal as the National Enquirer.

Agreed. People do not like JFF. ESPN sees and opportunity to start "investigating" and pounce. It is good business for them. Feed the sheep what the sheep want when the sheep want.

Nevermind the fact that their is absolutely no photo or video evidence of money changing hands or specific allegations of payment made to the Alabama players, ITATers have made the leap from pictures of autograph signing to illegal payments being received.

On the other hand, an Auburn qb having a Heisman season has a father who openly admits to his kid being shopped with specific allegations that prompted an NCAA investigation. Actual SEC and NCAA suspension rules were ignored by those two organizations which allowed Cam Newton to not miss any games. YET, ITATers have the nerve to complain about letting other teams that DID NOT even get investigated go free.

Talk about hypocritical babble. This one takes the cake.

What are talking about. Cam took money to attend auburn and his dad admitted it. The NCAA didn't want to lose their ratings and money maker. Everyone but the state of Alabama knew he took money

What in the frick are you talking about?

I swear, save for the few regulars, there are more Auburn fans here over this than I've seen in over a year. What gives?

So how much proof was there that Cam's father took money

None, but HE ADMITTED, that he asked for money, which is a violation of SEC/NCAA rules. Cam's saving grace was his claims that he did not know his own father was shopping him around.

Change the channel, crybaby. ESPN is a privately owned company, they can run what they want,

But there is no proof he asked for money at AU, only State, is that not correct?

After the scrutiny that the NCAA and every amature snoop put AU and Cam's family through, if there was money passed, Cam's father needs to work for the Mob or the Cartel. He would be the foremost expert on money laundering.

bull shite. did you hear about this 8 months ago? imo, noone did. ok, it HAPPENED 8 months ago. maybe, just maybe, ESPN didn't have enough to go on the air with it. maybe, just maybe, the last 8 months have been used to investigate this (NCAA) and the story just broke. seems like you have an axe to grind with ESPN.

Didn't I read that the NCAA has only been investigating since June some time?

The key now is that they are saying he signed autographs before the bama game last year.

Yes, it was before the Bama game, which Bama won.

The game in question was the BCSNCG , not the TAMU game. You need to adjust the ITAT tinfoil hat.

I'm sorry you're butthurt, but the NCAA never opened an investigation into the T-town Menswear thing. Maybe you should start there
