Thank God for this thread. I was waiting for someone to bring the scheduling issu to the table. Haven't talked about it much here IMO.

I wonder why they chose 2007 to go back for top 10 opponents?

Hmm, 12 games against top ten vs 13. Not too much difference.

should have shown this stat...

2013 Cross-Division Opponent Combined 2012 SEC Records

Bama 1-15
LSU 14-2

This was taken from the thread on the Tiger Rant that is talking about the ESPN graphic.

The rest of the SEC just needs to let my fellow LSU fans bitch and moan because it isn't going to stop.

I'm one of the few LSU fans on here that isn't going to complain about the difference in the schedules because I love the fact we get to play UGA and UF this year (especially since UGA is going to start out so highly ranked). 2011 was the most exciting season I can remember as a Tiger because of all the quality opponents that we took down on the way to 13-1 and 2013 is going to be just as good IMO, even if we don't fare quite as well.

The graphic also says LSU plays hard teams consecutively while Bama seems to get conveniently placed bye weeks and well timed cupcake games.

Since 2007 Alabama is 8-4 against Top 10 teams.
Since 2007 Lsu is 6-7 against Top 10 teams.

One game differential. Sorry Lsu sucks and has a losing record against good competition. No wonder they want an easy schedule.

Kinda shows that Lsu hasn't really played tougher competition either.

I would feel guilty if I were a Bama fan with the Tennessee Kentucky crap.

Wait, so Florida is a permanent opponent of LSU and not of Alabama, and you're telling me there's a chart that shows LSU plays Florida more often than Alabama?
