A collection of SEC fans from this board would walk through this schedule.

vs Temple - no big deal
@ Michigan - Tide says hello
@ Purdue - winnable by top half of SEC
vs Michigan State - winnable by top half of SEC
vs Oklahoma - winnable by top half of SEC
vs Arizona State - no big deal
BYE - could be tough
vs USC - winnable by top half of SEC
@ Air Force - no big deal
vs Navy - no big deal
@ Pittsburgh - no big deal
BYE - should have more experience this late in season
vs BYU - no big deal
@ Stanford - winnable by top half of SEC

Not only would at least 1/2 of the SEC survive that schedule and get a good bowl win I would say 4 - 6 SEC teams could go undefeated with that schedule.

The sad part is that the original poster actually believes every word of it.

I love how they keep comparing Alabama's schedule to theirs... yet there's not a team on there as good as Texas A&M *OR* LSU... or, if we're one of the teams they have to "compete" with for the BCS slot, the SEC East champ.

Maybe Stanford. I think A&M proved Oklahoma has a ways to go.

Try LSU's schedule from 2011.

Alabama twice (National Champs)
Oregon (Rose Bowl Champs)
West Virginia (Orange Bowl Champs)
#3 Arkansas at the time
Georgia in the SEC Championship
Florida
and all the other Top 25 teams

End of the season might not have gone well for us, but that schedule and going 13-1 was still great.

Notre Dames schedule last year doesn't even compare to the one above.
