The Mannings are actually really good people. Peyton went to the worst team as did "daddy". I trust that whatever the leadership issue the Mannings had with SD was legit and not just being babies.

A&M has none. Five players have been picked #2.

Luke Joeckel - 2013
Von Miller - 2011
Quintin Coryatt - 1992
John David Crow - 1958
John Kimbrough - 1941

So, I guess Reggie White was originally drafted to the AFL? I didnt see him on that list.

Didn't Namath have some knee injury later in his college career? Probably why.

He chose to go the AFL over the NFL. So, he wasn't a NFL draft pick.

I'm a bit amazed that an LSU fan would bring up the #1 bust of all time, worse even than Ryan Leaf or Tony Mandarich, which is saying something! I actually hope he makes it in his second try as I enjoyed watching him at LSU, but I don't have high hopes.

None for A&M, ever. This was the year, and KC blew it. But #2 Von Miller is almost a HoF lock if he stays healthy, and I expect the same for #2 Joeckel.
