The linebacker U thread got me wondering. I
I would say uga is known for their qbs, tight ends, pass rushers (defensive ends like pollack but its now olb like jarvis, houston, jordan jenkins)

All time or right now? You talking just college production or college and pro?

For a while there we had sort of a running back U thing going on. Willie Mcclendon, Herschel, lars tate, rodney hampton, tim worley, garrison hearst, robert edwards, knowshon, etc.

Running backs of course.

Although most of our Heisman winners are quarterbacks.

I'd say we're pretty well known for our kickers and DBs through the years.

Recently, QB has been the biggest for us.

Hopefully the next one continues the streak.

UGA is known for running backs. The legacy of Herschel.

We've had better QBs and pass rushers recently, but those aren't the legacy positions at UGA.

I wouldn't say ole miss has any particular unit that stands out over the other, but we do have pro bowl caliber players at WR, QB, LB, OL in the league.

Cornerback maybe? (Smoot, Banks this year)

Secondary is always pretty tight.
