Agreed.
I hope to see a wide open JJ/SW QB battle starting in the spring of 2015 with SW being named the starter shortly there after.

Exactly. People are really underestimating JJ.

Yea White isn't that impressive to me. Put me in the JJ and Queen club.

I like Queen too.. He's going to look like Jarrod Lorenzen in 3 years

I think White could turn out to be really good. I also think JJ could turn out to be rally good.
So.....
That is something we haven't had in a while.

We've had guys we thought would be really good quite a few times. We haven't had many guys that proved us right though.

Are we doing this future qb crap again?
Posted on 9/26/13 at 3:41 pm to CaptainBrannigan
Yeah wanna give some insight or just complain about it?

One is a freshman at Auburn.
One is a senior in high school.

How about some future WR crap? Youtube has a highlight of D'haquille's juco game from last week LINK. This guy will set our offense apart IMO.
Add a true #1 WR threat to what we already have on offense and give Nick Marshall a full year of experience and a full offseason with Gus and next years offense could be dirty
Here's another video of D'haquille absolutely blowing up a safety on a deep pass earlier this season LINK

D'haquille Williams and Sammie Coates could give us some great down-the-field threats next year, if we are able to hold on to his commitment (I've heard he's not as solid as some like to admit). Throw in RiCardo Louis, if he can just catch the ball, Quan Bray, and Tony Stevens, and we have some real threats out wide.
I know I missed some guys.

It's not impossible to form an opinion though. I didn't say White is proven to be better. I said I think he will be better.

What in the frick is that cat doing with the ball? Holding it out when he makes cuts, carrying in inside arm, palming it

He's said as much about his commitment. He realizes he's the next Cordarelle Patterson (or better) and he wants to know he can come in, produce, and get to the league in one year.

He is extremely close with Dameyune Craig and the amount of WR sweeps + deep passes added to the fact that our passing game clearly is improving is playing in our favor
Derrick Moncreif is also very pro AU and teammates with him
