Think about how different the trajectory for a&m is right now. No Heisman, no cotton bowl blow out. Recruiting probably isn't as electric. Just goes to show how one set of downs completely changes the entire perception of a program. If tamu loses that game, everyone is saying "they had a good year, but they are still a few players and a few years away. Instead, now they are suddenly the media's #2 in the SEC. Honestly, as an LSU fan, I sadly agree.

Exactly. If bama didn't score on their last possession against LSU, UGA is the national champ.

I don't think they finish the year in the top two of the SEC.

I often think about things. I should've been a plastic surgeon, for instance.

You mean no hype for the following season, like if Ole Miss doesn't beat Tebow and Florida at the Swamp...

Most teams can point to a moment in a game where their season took a turn--either for the better or for the worst. What if we hadn't lost the close one against Florida? The BCS rankings could've been very different.

Thankfully, A&M stopped Bama.

Honestly everyone here would be much better off if Bama would have put that damn ball in the endzone.

Maybe telefa-whatever his name is wouldnt be pushing Dale and Latarian for worst SECR poster of all time too.

Akin to if the 3 Victoria's models in my dreams were real.

If A&M doesn't miss its field goals against Florida, they are national champs. So I mean...

aTm played very vanilla against Alabama in the second half. I think Sumlin felt sorry for the lil' man and called off the dogs before it got ugly.

I feel that Bama would not have won the GA game. GA brought a HARD game ... well fought ... either could have won.

I believe the loss enabled Bama to beat GA.

Bama or GA would have thrashed ND.

What if Mike Evans doesnt pop up a perfectly thrown slant that would have likely gone for a TD against LSU?

A&M would have been the one routing the domers in Miami.

If if and buts were candy and nuts...

If we score there and everything else is exactly the same, AJ has an actual chance at the Heisman.

The loss to A&M might have been the reason we won the NC. Sometimes teams need a wake up call.

Johnny gets the Heisman anyway, they still beat oklahoma in the cotton bowl. Would still be top 10.
