Is it about a sinking ship or more about a lack of leadership, a bad work ethic and no common team goals or aspirations?

Compare that with the ten underclassmen declaring to leave.

OT Chris Faulk
Punter Brad Wing
DE Barkevious Mingo
DE Sam Montgomery
DT Bennie Logan
FS Eric Reid
MLB Kevin Minter
CB Tharold Simon
TB Spencer Ware
TB Michael Ford

How the frick does Georgia get that horseshoe outta their arse?

Next year they get LSU, at home and in Athens, in a season in which, for the first time in years, LSU may very well be down.

Its 6 RS Juniors, Reid has a degree, Wing got booted, Ware at RB speaks for itself, and then Simon.

Thanks for starting another thread about it

I'm ecstatic that everyone thinks this going into next year.

Geez will you dumbfrick SC fans ever be happy? You've complained for 2 years that our schedule isn't hard enough. So now in a year where we open the season @clemson and get LSU from the west, you're complaining because LSU isn't good enough. I'd gladly trade playing MSU for LSU if you want. Just STFU.

Our strength and conditioning coach does that list every year. Uses it to motivate players to NOT be on the list. Still a dick move, but hes done it almost every year.

And most of those players are going to be taken in the top 3-4 rounds. Ware and Ford declared because they realize that Jeremy Hill is by far our best back, and with Blue coming back and Hilliard still there, the touches wont be there for them. And Chris Faulk was a 1st rounder before his knee injury.

Sure, we got gutted. But it doesnt really shock me that much. We were lucky to have Mingo and Montgomery returning last year IMO.

That's a very astute observation. Something is definitely up down there.

Tommy moffett always makes that list. It's punishment/motivation for missing a work out.

As for the leaving early its a combination of many things. Extremely talented players, players not born into money (a la matthews-not that there's anything wrong with that), multiple kids, having a large amount of their friends already in the league flashing money and the fact that this class played so much so early that they have more time on the field than a large amount of seniors in the draft.

did you really just find a way to link LSU's roster attrition to our scheduling?

Nobody is predicting a significant dropoff. Vegas has LSU is the third favorite to win it all in 2013 behind Bama and Oregon.

Despite all the exiting juniors the only major overhaul on offense or defense is the DL. The other concern is RB for depth reason - only have 3-4 RB's ready to go and does not appear to be any in signing class. LSU plays a lot of players and every position except DL has players that played a lot stepping into the #1 spot on depth charts. Oh yeah, We have been "all-in" on Mett so nobody has any PT at QB if he gets hurt...
