that's what State ran the first three years under Mullen. We ran it with a 5'2" QB his first year that gashed LSU and damn near beat them. We ended with a 5-7 season with the #1 SOS in the NCAA. We were one inch short against LSU from going to a bowl his first year. The "Relf Coast Offense" ran in years two and three showed that a spread option offense can get you to a 9 and seven win season even with a complete dufus on the field. This year we got away from it and it has hurt us tremendously, especially when we very well may have the best option QB in State history playing second string.

The NFL will definitely use it more and you will see more and more universities go to it because it is fun as hell to watch-when executed correctly. And yes, aTm is about the best I have seen at running it

Might be the stupidest thing I have ever heard in my life. Congrats, that's an accomplishment. Any chance this is your work?

everybody runs it now dude. and y'all don't run the spread the whole game either; at least not after you lost to florida. i give sumlin credit for using his massive ol quite often in games after that.

Not everyone, but most. Hell, next season seven SEC teams will be running some version of the spread.

in 7 years, the sec defenses will be well adjusted/recruited to the spread and it will be on to the next new thing in offense

Maybe you didn't notice who was in the national championship game.

Hint:

0 spread teams
2 old school teams

Alabama won the NC, and they run a pro- style offense.

Who cares? Line up and play the game. If everyone is running an offensive system, the better recruited and better coached team will still win.
