Everyone hated JJ... duh. That was a conspiracy by the Lee people to get him playing time.

ETA: (in this thread, people will likely think I was serious).

I don't expect you to feel better, but to deny there is an element of LSU/Bama backlash here is to have your head stuck firmly in the sand.

The Lee people in conjunction with the tri-lateral commission if we are being honest with ourselves.

So, what if the victim had been a female just out in New Orleans...and not a fan of either team? What if the perpetrator hadn't had any team oriented clothes on either? So there's the scenario, a perfect stranger sees a passed out girl in a restaurant, decides to pull out his cock and balls and rub them across her face, film it, and then publish that to YouTube in an attempt to further humiliate the girl. Is that sentence still too harsh?

Did JJ get two years for stomping that guy's head?

No one said it was. They said he willingly accepted two years.

And here we go.

All you do is flame LSU, so I can't expect you to be objective.

ETA: stupid fricking Texan.

I don't remember.. Was he convicted? Plea it down? Charges dropped? I know that this multiple offender didn't get two years..

I disagree vehemently with you and your strawman, but I will not sink to the personal attacks that you are going with. You are fired up either because you are this guy's family, have been railed by the legal freight train yourself, or you have unbridled naïveté about fairness and justice.

This case had overwhelming evidence, in state victim out of state actor, large publicity, and a deranged actor. He had no leverage. He probably deserved by the letter of the law much worse. I wouldn't change our sentencing guidelines for these types of crimes to protect a marginal guy when most people that engage in the type of conduct prescribed by our sexual battery statutes deserve the max.

DA's are elected in this state to get wins. When you are handed a slam dunk by stupid criminal, you throw it home. Any other solution would not have made sense in this case.

Learn some respect, governor. Otherwise, to you.

The DA was pretty pissed off. It won't go well for him.

I will say that it was a Texan that introduced me to the concept of "hanging brains" in public. He went to Tulane though. He wasn't attractive.

I don't think the question is wether or not its ok to put balls on someones face.
(A stateline does not effect the way people in the south act that much. Like when you get to Alabama people just start putting balls on your face. Get real retards.)Because that will never be ok.

But the question should be was it funny? and the answer will be yes.
