Seems like there's a lot of buzz about 4* LB Brandon Lee committing to Mizzou this Friday. A lot of the 247 guys updated their prediction today and 80% are for Mizzou.

I'd love to finish this class with Wallace, Johnson, Lee, Sawyer, and Wingo.

Assuming that we are able to take 5 more this class (considering early enrollees and 1 or 2 that may reclassify to 2015), who are our top 5 targets left? I would think the staff will be a lot more selective with the rest of the class. IMO, I would assume that the top 5 would be: DE Dante Sawyer, LB Brandon Lee, OT Roderick Johnson, OT Brian Wallace, and DT Calvin Heurtelou. Next up if any of these guys don't commit would be LB Nile Sykes, DB Raymond Wingo (although I think this class is just fine at DB) or another DT. Thoughts/opinions?

Word is that calvin heurtelou is Mizzou's to lose. 3* JUCO DT.

Who was the other kid from the same school? Think he committed to KSU too. Maybe a DE or something?

Safe to say someone let the word get out? Anytime I see that many, last minute predictions, its because guys are predicting something that is already known. Will keep my fingers crossed, but as much as it was a bad sign with Booker, I think it's a good sign with Lee.

That's right. Thanks 808. He ever make it past the prison gates and onto a football field?

For now. He's at Butler CC.

But he has an armed robbery charge from earlier this year which probably hasn't been adjudicated. So chances are still good he gets to make his own version of "The Longest Yard.

Eta: also, tPOS Snyder denied ever offering him after his armed robbery arrest.

I totally agree with the first two (Sawyer & Lee).

Maybe Wallace, but we already have 6 OTs.

Heurtelow might be dependent on whether we get Sawyer or not.

Same with Sykes or Sharieff Rhaheed on Lee committing.

I think the staff wants Wingo.

Also hearing rumblings that we might try to flip Warmack from KSU.

Warmack? Not familiar with him. What does he play?

I'd love to see us focus on defense with the rest of the class, but I'll be happy with the athletes regardless.

I would think if we wanted another RB we would have accepted Markel and not try to flip someone else.

Yeah, that would make more sense. I wish we could have had Markel, but we already have 2 RBs in the class.

He would of been a very nice grab. But overall the class is taking shape. If we land Lee, Wallace, and Sawyer I would be beyond satisfied. I feel 2015 may be one of the best classes we ever have to date.

Wait, did we turn down Markel?

From what I have heard, yes.

Officially yes. Chase Abbington is a commit of the 2015 class. Besides him, no. But several prospects are very very high on us. Anree Amour is a DE 4* from the same HS as Nate Brown and Dante Sawyer. Hale Henteges (may of spelled last name wrong) is a 4* TE from Jeff City who is high on us and grew up a Mizzou fan. We recently sent him 100 letters in the mail.
