Give Ish a chance!

I also like how things are shaping up. Next year could be awesome for recruiting!

IMO - Ish looks more like the RBs that have had success in our offense. Markel needs to follow Montee's lead and go to a school with an offense he is more suited for. Chances are it works out better for everyone involved. The Alonso school in FL will produce kids that are good enough to play for Mizzou just about every year. Vianney will not. Long term, Mizzou will have a chance at any Vianney kid it wants in the future and by doing work now, Mizzou will increase its odds of getting FL kids it wants in the future. In the short term, I think Ish can be just as good or better than Markel in our current offense.

Not only is it unpopular, it's underhanded and shows a lack of integrity. You don't make an offer to a kid and accept his commitment, then yank it. It's November. The HS football season is about over. These kids are excited about coming to Missouri, and we're excited to have them. They took a chance on us when we looked like we were struggling. For us to back out on them would be really shitty, and I'd rather coach up some kids that want to be here than be that shitty.

+1. That's not what do here, n-kay?

I can't sleep right now because there is this bright light shining in my face.

It's the bright light of enlightenment.

Ish was one of the few commits that I didn't watch their HS highlights. I hated his name and I didn't like that he had no other decent offers. I watched his highlights tonight and I agree with everything you just said. I am no longer upset about the Markel situation.

I told yall I knew him from high school and always felt he'd be a true son! Hopefully he stays this time

I know I'm late to the party but better late than never....

Sleepy I still think he will be an elite talent still ranked 105 in the nation glad he's a true son

Disturbing trend when some of those had just predicted Mizzou 2 days ago. Word being leaked that it's VTech?

I don't trust predictions anymore. Most had Booker predicted to Mizzou and were wrong even on day of predictions. The Same for that CB we thought we had during summer who ended up at Arkansas.

We need Brandon Lee. If he gains another 30-40 lbs he would be a monster.

Have any of our guys with connections to the staff heard anything about Lee? Or any other recruit not yet committed?

I thought we had a shot at DGB because people with ties to the staff said they were feeling good, confident.

I feel like Brandon Lee would be a very nice piece to help round out this recruting class.

Get him, the JUCO DT Hertelou (never can have enough DT depth), Dante Sawyer DE from Georgia, and maybe Wallace the OT from StL. I'm happy with that class.

Brandon Lee's twitter cover has a VT in it.
Honestly, I doubt anyone knows.

Mizzou still has far bigger fish to recruit regardless. Dante Sawyer????

Caleb Chumley just tweeted "#Mizzou" and that was it. 3* ATH from Texas. 6'6 225.

247 has him listed as a TE.

It has the logo from each of the 4 teams he is considering although most believe it is between Mizzou and VT
