Not depressed at all. This is a young team that I thought would have 2 losses once they cut Honey Badger loose. they turned a huge corner last night, and hopefully finish the year strong, and carry that into next year.

I'd be depressed if my team was 2-7 and there were only 8 teams in the entire country that have less offensive yards

You seem to think it's a foregone conclusion that LSU would be in the nat'l champ game with our loss to UF. Hate to break it to you and the other SEC sunshine pumpers, but there's no way a 1 loss SEC team gets in the big game this year over undefeated Oregon, KState and Notre Dame.

Actually the LSU visiting team has been mediocre/horrid. Fayetteville will be tough and a win in ATL would be iffy.

You lost an SEC and National Championship last night because of Les Miles making dumb decisions. You had that game in the frickin bag but handed it to them.

The rest of your schedule was a piece of cake and you would've romped Georgia in Atlanta again. You would've been matched up against some dinky spread team or an overrated Kansas State team you would've manhandled in the title game in Miami.

Even as a 1 loss SEC team you would've gone no matter what because we've won it for 6 straight years.

So frickin close. I can't believe it. As a bammer hater, I feel for you guys.

Or I could be present day Auburn, shambles.

I choose LSU.

I don't get depressed over teenagers playing a game a game a they love, I admire it win or lose both sides. I find it depressing old rednecks collecting welfare checks to buy tickets for the game to pay for cable and tickets to see it.

Winning last night's game wouldn't guarantee leapfrogging the other three unbeatens.

UGA in ATL isn't a guaranteed win for LSU, and if Dogs come to play with the mindset they brought vs UF, maybe not Bama neither, though would be large underdog in the fight.

This LSU team isn't the lights-out 2006 loaded & balanced LSU that left a natty title on the table for UF to take via CLM learning curve and sloppy play..this 2012 team is young, injured, retooling weekly, and has to grind hard weekly. You paint a broad stroke.

The nation is sick of the SEC, it took a few coaches like Troy Calhoun, etc..to vote OSU way down-slotted, otherwise they may have beaten out Tide for #2 slot last BCSCG. A one-loss SEC team is probably SOL if recent BCSCG berthed Oregon, rebuilding to prominence Notre, and KSU/Snyder(flirted with title run in 1998), all remain unbeaten..

Most of the country is hoping somebody can take down the runaway train SEC..hosing them from a berth in the game is the surest way!

I'm depressed, BUT our team turned a huge corner last night. We were given no shot by the pundits our much of anybody else for that matter. We were the better team last night but failed to close the deal. Our offensive performance, particularly by Mett, gives great hope for a run at next year's NC.

Actually, Les tried a lot of things this time that we have been begging for all year. Unfortunately, none of them worked this time, as they usually have in the past.

If they had worked, Les would have been the hero to every LSU fan and an unpredictable idiot to every other team's fans.

No, I am not depressed. I saw a great game...in person, I might add, as I always do. I was part of the biggest Tiger Stadium crowd in LSU history, and was on the edge of my seat every minute of the second half.

Disappointed? Sure.

Depressed? About the Tigers? These are LSU tigers we are talking about, not Aubarn Tigers. I'm proud of their spirit and performance even in the loss.

Let me turn the question around and back to you, and you can answer it after the Iron Bowl.

We played and lost to the No.1 team in the nation, with :51 seconds left. We beat the TIDE in every single category except Score and number of penalties. Our two losses were to two of the top five teams in the country by a total of 12 points, and we've beaten two others in the top 15.

As an Aubarn fan, You know much more about depression than any Tiger Fan has in years.

I think the Auburn fans are taking it harder than the LSU fans. I know you bastards were on the edge of your seat praing to God that we were going to lose and then we snatch victory from the jaws of defeat and baarners all over the world were throwing shite at their tv.

Hang on - an Auburn fan slinging mud about the quality of a head coach and losing to Alabama?

Go back in time to the Tubby years and post this. It'll have the weight you're looking for here.
