Awful idea. And it’s exactly what the far left wants to completely upend public sentiment against ICE

Depends on what you’re looking for. 2nd swing, Callaway Preowned, FB marketplace, eBay, etc. I’ve bought Scotty’s and Labs through FB groups too.

Their schedule is weak and I haven’t seen them play much, but I’m surprised the line isn’t higher given our atrocious offense.

Kinda trashy

Just for the record, about 55% of federal employees are working during the shutdown and 45% are furloughed.

Incorrect. About 23% are being furloughed while 77% will continue working.

Furloughs should not receive backpay, imo.

Most do but certainly not all. I have a few fed MAGA friends. About 25-30% of the federal workforce are conservatives.
“The American Civil Liberties Union of South Carolina … also condemn the targeted harassment of teachers, professors, and other public servants for political statements that they publish in their personal capacity. Our state cannot and should not respond to violence by infringing on the free speech rights guaranteed by the First Amendment.”

Yeah, they can frick right off. The moral rot of these people is palpable. Just another stark reminder that we are not the same.
I just read the statement from his wife and it’s sickening.
That’s what I’m wondering. If the fund is to invest in Ukraine projects, how does that pay us back for the billions Biden already gifted away?
Full disclosure. I used to do a significant amount of federal contracting before my firm went another direction. I also have good buddies who are currently Fed employees. We all are all deep conservatives that voted for Trump 3 times.

But please explain how DOGE has had any emphasis on merit thus far? They have not. It’s been nothing but low-hanging blanket cuts with no analysis whatsoever on employee performance. And it isn’t like this would be difficult and/or cost additional time and $ - all Fed employees have periodic performance appraisals. Maybe that’s next. Who knows. But thus far, DOGE’s activities have had nothing to do with merit or even really efficiency for that matter.

No one is back pedaling. Trump confirmed today. Respond or you’re fired. It’s not that hard. Answer an email. They’re just looking for a response of any kind. Anyone complaining deserves to be fired.

You couldn’t be more wrong. It was a poor move and a shite show in implementation

I just got this for PS5 and find it pretty challenging. I die a lot and admit I’m not good at the combat mechanics. I’m not a big fan of them. Very frustrating and difficult to pull off. Anyone else?

Let’s not lose the plot MAGA. Our beef is with the politicians and shot callers, not the body of the fed gov at large.

Too late. The vast majority of this board is giddy watching federal employees lose their jobs, with no understanding of what they do or how important that job may or may not be. Despite the fact that 1/3 of Fed employees are veterans and that a very large amount of feds are conservatives just like us (several hundred thousand who voted for Trump) that are getting caught up in this.

Most are from DC. We are losing none of those votes.

False. 85% of federal employees live OUTSIDE of DC. I swear, some of you rattle off false claims just to be part of the conversation and you don’t have a clue what you’re talking about.
Serious question. Isn’t a shutdown good for fed employees deemed nonessential? Basically a free vacation with guaranteed backpay?
Still good though. I have 2 buddies who are feds (both are very MAGA) and they complain about the judges and higher ups in their agencies that are retirement age, have lowered productivity, but don’t want to leave. And it’s been difficult to force them out. So anyone leaving, retirement or not, is a good start.
I googled and he posts way more on IG

We’re thinking about adding on to our house. Covington area. Nothing fancy. Just a simple bedroom extension (700-900 sqft). New concrete pad needed. Vaulted ceiling with new electrical and plumbing line for a gas fireplace. Know there are a lot of factors, but anyone know what my general price/sqft is? And any good builders recs?
