No expectations, it's still not real being in the SEC, just happy to be here.

Younger guys will not understand the feeling above.

I think that Nick Saban is the best college coach there is and that Bama is the consensus #1 team in the nation. How can you expect to beat that? I don't. I'm not saying we have no shot. This is just not a game that I expect to win.

Our two losses came against teams who were able to keep JFF in the pocket, and collapse that pocket rushing only three, four, or five guys. We have a quality offensive line, and not many teams can do that. The grinders tried and failed. If you all out blitz against JFF, he will smoke you.

Our defense has been pretty damn good against the run this season. I knew coming into the season that we would have good linebacker play, but the D-Line has really stepped up. They've been much better than I expected. If you think you're going to run, run, run until we're worn down, I don't think you'll like the result.

Our secondary is pitiful. That's been mostly irrelevant in the SEC, but it's still the ugly truth. For all of the shite we took from the arrogant coonasses on this site after we lost to LSU, there are two facts that can't be ignored.

1. If we had held onto the ball (we were -5 in turnovers) we would have won.

2. If LSU had been able to hit the open receiver (and they missed time after time) they would have killed us.

I did not like Sumlin as our hire last fall, and my apprehension has been proven wrong by what he has done so far. I don't doubt that Saban finds a way to win. He almost always does. But I can guarantee you that Sumlin will have our guys ready to play. You won't be facing a "deer in the headlights" opponent who is in awe of everything going on around them. I promise you that.

Good post. No doubt that CKS will have our boys ready to play and that they won't be intimidated. I could see any team from the past 12-13 years shitting their pants. Sumlin and his staff have brought a new culture to College Station.

I think our defense favors this matchup. IMO they match up better against traditional power running teams. We shall see.

Interestingly, I think the A&M game next week is good practice for the uptempo Oregon offense that Bama will play in the NCG.

^this

I am still marking it down as a L until I see otherwise but I feel much better about our chances than I have.

Even if we lose, if it allows Bama to go into the BCSCG with a little more preparation for what they will see against Oregon I can live with that.

Aggies lose - SEC dominance continues in BCS

Aggies win - well sorry about the NC Bama but I will take a win over a lose any time

Win win situation I guess.

I think we lead early, go back and forth into the 4th, then Alabama pulls away late.

I'm leaning towards this, but as always, anythings possible.

TAMU defense can't hold up against the Bama run game and JFF can't score enough against the Bama D to keep it close.

Sorry - but that's how I see it.

I wonder how many responses will ignore the intangibles in last night's game and take 'Bama's performance at face value.

I don't think any A&M fan expects to win this game - not talented enough on defense just yet. But, I'm not thinking we get mauled either. I never expected to see us this competitive so soon, and neither did anyone else in the media.

I consider anything less than a blowout acceptable this year.

Oh, I think it'll be a good game, no doubt.

We have two wide receivers more talented than anything that has ever lined up for the piggies. They will be fine.

Wow. There is a fine line between trolling and stupid.

You crossed that line

Bama's wimpy crying quarterback is the least intimidating spectacle we've faced this season.

Looking forward to the game. First quarter will tell the tale. Hoping Bama comes out a bit flat and Ags get some momentum early. If Ags are able to stay on field long enough to run 70 offensive plays... well you never know.

Going to be there with my wife. Section FF (lower) row 14... seat 21 and 22.

Looking forward to Tuscaloosa.
