Until Saturday night Alabama has been suffering from a lack of competition. So good on you guys for winning.

As Johnny goes, so goes A&M's offense. A&M's defense is thrifty but it has stood up to Florida and LSU in losing efforts. I blame the loss both games on the offense and good opposing defenses.

A&M will have to get off to fast start and get 2 TDs ahead and then match any Alabama scoring.

I don't think Alabama is used to playing from behind, obviously Saturday night being the exception. Nussmeier's screen call on the final TD was absolutely brilliant.

If not, then we score some but in the end lose with dignity.

Seeing Mettenberger pass on Alabama makes me think JF has the ability to do the same. That said, Saban has to be licking his lips playing against a true freshman.

Alabama - 38
Texas A&M - 13

25-35% chance is how I feel. Or if we played 3 times we'd win 1. That's the form my cautious optimism is taking.

We will definitely have to play our best game. If we turn the ball over more than once or twice, we're done.

The Ags are not the type team anyone wants to be facing right now. It's the toughest road game in the country. It will be fun to see how we measure up to the best team in college football.

Bama will not play the same game two weeks in a row.
You don't have the running backs as LSU.
They will try to keep JMFF in containment and shut down his passing.
If they come out flat, all bets are off. You can win.

I'm not reading four pages just to say aTm better lube up.

All this talk of a Bama letdown is ridiculous. aTm is having a great year. They remind me of a good Arky team. Arky and aTm would probably play for the NC every now and then, but they decided to play grown man ball all year. Props to them for that.

LSU and Bama are going to rule the SEC for years to come. Learn to embrace it.

Interestingly, I think the A&M game next week is good practice for the uptempo Oregon offense that Bama will play in the NCG.

I actually think Oregon can beat Bama this year.

aTm fans on here are sounding like State fans. You are about to get raped. LSU fricking dominated you. The score did not give an accurate representation of how hard we fricked ya'll.

Bama is going to bring the wood. Start predicting a Bama blowout. You'll feel better after.

Historically speaking, this is a very naive statement.

Well, we know someone watched none of the Oregon game last night. They do not play defense man. LSU has an elite defense and Bama put up 21. Bama will put up 40+ with little effort. Oregon may not score a point bc Bama will dominate the line of scrimmage. It will/would be a rout.

LSU would fricking rout them too.

Not really. Bama has been the best team in the SEC historically and LSU has always been a top notch program.

And don't preach SEC history to me noob.

Overall, yes. But on a year by year basis, no. That's nearly impossible.

A team or too stays dominant for two long and eventually someone finds a way to catch them. That's how it's always worked. Hell, just in the last decade, Florida and Auburn have had their turns at the top.

I see a lot of the same things that were said all off season and all season.

A&M has proven that we play physical, tough football. A&M is not a finesse team.
Our success has a lot to do with Manziel, but if you look closer you see we have three guys in the trenches projected in the first round, a three man rotation at RB, great WRs, and talented veterans at LB.

I think we give Alabama all they can handle and I think this game will be decided by who makes the least amount of mistakes. Fortunately for Alabama, our young QB has made some mistakes in crunch time. If Alabama somehow turns the ball over and A&M plays almost mistake free, I give us a decent chance.

What game were you watching? A&M dominated LSU in most every category - our kicker missed 2 field goals that would have won the game, and LSU had absolutely nothing to do with that.

What a homer.
