he didn't say the NCAA were investigating the high school coaches...the school system did.

If the coach and AD were worried enough about the player to report what they thought were improprieties, you would think they would have worked with him a little harder to make sure he had his grades in order before he even transferred out.

The frick are you talking about? What will the NCAA do to them?
Read the fricking article. Almost the entire thing is about the school district's investigation of misconduct by the AD and the coach.

Amazing how it is misconduct when the coaches know they are getting screwed. Paige had a 1.66 GPA at this HS and he will probably never have academic problems while at bama.

All depends on how he performs on the field. If he doesnt perform on the field, his arse will be processed!

Changing your arguement now?
It's not so amazing when you are spending your time on your work computer on fan sites talking about your student athletes including their academic situations.
As for Paige, no one has any idea whether he'll qualify or make the grades assuming he does eventually make it to college. But God forbid he transfer to a school where he can take more core classes and give himself a better chance of qualifying to attend a 4 year college and improve his life. I guess the easier thing to do would be to just have his councelor change his grades.

Meh, the Naval Aviation Museum is legit, probably why they are there. We go to Orange Beach every October, and since I hate the beach I go to the museum for an entire day while we are there. And who the hell wouldn't want to move to where Lambert's is. I mean I can see nothing wrong here.

Auburn graduated this illiterate guy named James Brooks:
"The “problem” he refers to was the revelation that occurred during a hearing in Judge Steve Martin’s Hamilton County, Ohio, courtroom last month regarding delinquent child support payments in excess of $110,000. James Brooks could not read the court documents; this after graduating from Warner Robins High School in Georgia in 1977 and after spending at least four years at Auburn University in Alabama.
When asked by the judge how he graduated from Auburn, Brooks said, “I didn’t have to go to class.”
If not knowing how to read was the secret James Brooks kept, “performing in his football role,” as Jack Brennan of the Cincinnati Bengals said, was something James Brooks, as a player, always made sure you remembered."

It's funny how they always seem to transfer to Foley. Probably just a coincidence though. Oh and yes there is factual proof that the guidance counselor in Memphis was hounded by Trooper to change the grades.
Good for the kid for being able to improve his life, but he will most likely just be given the grades he needs at Foley.
That was before I read the article

And this has a bearing on what is happening here? Are you really pulling stuff up from 30 years ago? Or are you saying he is as dumb as Brooks and it is OK for Bama to take him? Why bring up Auburn at all?

If that is true, than what in the world in Trooper doing still on the Auburn staff???? They should have cut ties immediately. Where are you getting this from?

If you've got an allegation to make, then make it. Don't be a puss.

FYI: Tez Doolittle never went to class either. He'd show up on the first day, take roll, and never come again. In fact, he didn't even try to be sly about it. A nerdy little white guy would always come take his tests.
Moral of the story: It happens everywhere, it just isn't as prominent as it used to be.

It was sarcasm in his response to Auburn changing Robinson's grades, however we do know it was Pruitt behind the entire Paige thing.

TiggerWoods posted about Bama cheating for players grades. TiggerWoods is an Auburn fan. Auburn actually graduated a player that was found to be ILLITERATE by a court of law.
