That's not necessarily true.

If we had only been able to sign one out of our top six in-state talents like your team did last year, then I might tend to agree with you. But actually, we did the opposite, we signed all but one.

How did it feel to have bama come in and cherry pick your top two recruits?

I think Otha will fit in nicely with the Hogs, probably be the 2nd louisiana player in the last few years to be named SEC Defensive Player the week we mercy knee lsu again. Except there will be no mercy this time.

Since 2005 High School players from each state to the NFL..

Arkansas 18
Mississippi 18
Tennessee 20

Arkansas 2007 class reranked by ESPN #6

Arkansas to Atlanta 3 times and BCS. We recruit fine but need a few more studs out-of-state for depth. Not to mention the need to stop Arkansas kids from starting at rival SEC's which includes the entire west and Tennessee at some point.

Plus, if you're selling magazines Arkansas and Mississippi are at the bottom compared to their border states for potential buyers.

Arkansas is only about to dig deeper back into Texas thank you TAMU.

Your post doesn't make a damn bit of sense - truly a dubious attempt at, well, I really don't know.

Now, how about that '13 Aggie recruiting class?

What makes you think Arkansas will be digging anywhere in Texas?

You've enjoyed three straight victories in the most prestigious stadium in the state and it's done nothing for your Texas recruiting.

Arkansas is an anomoly. But it's the kind that won't ever change. You're stuck in recruiting limbo for perpetuity.

Simple.

Did or did not kids growing up in Tejas associate with the Big 12 dominated coverage? That is changing.

Having TAMU in the SEC opens the door to Tejas kids who weren't alive for the SWC. When covering the SEC you Must cover the two closet teams to TAMU. In Tejas if you want to play in the SEC you have 3 close options with close games for friends and family to see you.

What is the second closest SEC school to Dallas and third to Houston? Arkansas.

Again, last two Arkansas classes, the best we've ever had since they started these internet recruiting rankings.

We got Williams, a 4 star RB from Plano, a 5.7 3 star DB Hines from Waco, DE's Taiwan Johnson and Deatrick Wise. WR - Hawkins. That is just off the top of my head without looking it up.

Anyway, we had one of our best years ever in Texas.

It's not as bad as people want to make it out to be. I've posted this before but in regards to the future...

QB: Brandon allen- 4*, Austin Allen- probable 4*, Rafe Peavey- Possible 5* or high 4*

RB: Jonathan Williams- 4*, Donovan roberts- offer from OU

WR: Keon Hatcher- 4*, d'arthur cowan- offers from miss. state and alabama

TE: Hunter Henry- #2 ranked TE

dont feel like doing OL

DL: Taiwan Johnson- 4*, Darius Philon- chose us over alabama, JaMichael Winston- offers from michigan state, miss. state, louisville. Trey Flowers- Freshman all-SEC

LB: Otha Peters- 4*, Vin Ascolese- 3rd team parade all-American, Brooks Ellis- 4*

Secondary: Tevin Mitchel- Freshman all-SEC, Will Hines- Arkansas over mizzou, ray buchanan- offers from ole miss, maryland, illinois, miss. state, purdue. Carroll Washington- #2 ranked juco CB

I mean i realize we dont have the depth of other teams but our recruiting is good enough that we will be fine. At least compared to our 2008 team we'll have 4*s at QB, RB, and WR while they had zero starting at those positions iirc. All depends on who we hire though. Nutt of all people won 9 games his first year here.

Greg Childs was a 4 star. Mallett was a 5 star. Jarius Wright was a 4 star. Wilson was a 4 star. Joe Adams was a 4 star. Knile Davis was either 3 or 4. This guy obviously didn't research our recruiting very well. 0/10

Arkansas can't recruit yet S. Carolina can't beat them and they can recruit...and Ole Miss and Missy St. usually have better classes too...does it really matter in the end? It's about winning on the field, something we know pretty good except against Bammer

They have to go outside the state for talent, similar to Tennessee.

Tennessee has a BCS championship.

I forgot one. Nathan Holmes - We got him out of your backyard over there in Port Arthur. Your coaching staff at a&m probably has never heard of him. He's getting good reviews in practice, he's very fast.

Your last three classes average somewhere around 30.

That you might have identified a diamond in the rough is irrelevant - you didn't beat anyone for him. You were likely his only BCS offer. He would have signed with Arky regardless of the SWC Classic.

Terrible point.
