our states border yes, however Fayetteville is still 5 hours from Dallas and Lousiana. So practically next door!
also lets not mention not only are you IN Texas but an hour from the most fertile recruiting city in the country. So you should be stockpiling wins an championships right?

I never understood why people talk recruiting smack when they lose on the field. And I'm not limiting this to the TAMU fan in this situation.
Recruiting doesn't matter if you lose. Arky's place in college football, right now, is beating TAMU. They win.

If Sunlin doesn't suck as a coach, 2012 will be the only year in which we wonder what the outcome against Arky will be.

You nailed it for why everyone laughs at TAMU. They are located in Texas 45 mins from the most fertile recruiting ground yet fail year after year.
TAMU can't touch FSU's business model because they can't get out of their own way which is rather funny. There is a reason why they are Aggies.
Florida > FSU in the state of Florida
Texas > Texas A&M in the state of Texas
However, TAMU is nothing like FSU.
