If they can't beat Oklahoma or Texas how are they going to beat Alabama and LSU???

The "key" word here is "compete".
Yes, of course, they will "compete" for SEC W in Football. Arkansas and Ole Miss have competed for the SEC West over the last 5 years without winning it. Texas A&M has a much better recruiting base than those two schools, so I see no reason why they won't be competing for it.

im not even dignifying this with a legit answer

That's the truth, I think our offense is moronic, and we won't win the SEC W with it, but we will have the capability to punch a few teams in the mouth with it. We have had solid recruiting the past couple years, mixed with some dirty good home field advantage, a year with great experience at the QB position, and some luck; we will compete, no question.
If people think we are incapable of beating Alabama and LSU, then they are moronic. Even to believe that we will do it at the pace of Ole Miss and Miss St is stupid. The greatness of the SEC isn't necessarily the parity of the schools, but the parity of the talent and depth.
I pose a question for you, and I posed this to my Sooner relatives when all they did was give me endless shite about how A&M would be incapable of winning another game ever...
If A&M had Cam Newton in 2010, would they have won the BCS?
Let's paraphrase the conversation first:
Sooners: Do you really think you can win a National Title in the SEC?
Me: While in your lifetime, OU has won 4 national titles, Auburn had never(my parents were born in 58, they weren't the oldest, but the loudest aunt I was arguing with was young, and too dumb to even question my stat). You lived your entire life without Auburn ever winning a national title, and never at one point would you question their ability to play and win in the SEC.
Sooners: If you can't win the Big 12, how can you ever win the SEC?
Me: Before Bob Stoops got to Norman, you were getting stomped by A&M. You don't have some divine institutional advantage that is unbreakable. You know how you bring up 77-0? Do you remember that at the time, that was referred to as 'pay back'. When in 97 we were up 51-0 in your fricking house in the 3rd quarter before calling off the dogs?
Sooners: That was at our worst point ever, since then you've barely touched us.
Me: Since then, you've essentially hit us as our worst point ever. It's called being cyclical, and at certain points it just takes one player. Like Cam Newton.
Then I rambled on about how Cam Newton would have won us a national title if he went from Blinn to Aggieland.

A&M also has much higher acceptance standards as well. A 4* that gets into Arkansas or Ole Miss might not get accepted to A&M because they care about academics.
