We told you that clinching up was only going to make it more difficult.

Back on subject...we're gonna whoop that arse Wednesday.

It's gonna be all like 2008 Iron Bowl up in there. Auburn will probably score more than zero though...maybe

Auburn should be great practice for the crowd. The trophy presentation might make them a bit more rowdy than usual.

Do Green and Releford start? Or does he go with one of our twin towers and let Green come off the bench. I would love to see Randolph with another effort like on Sat. It would be good for his confidence.

I hope Green starts this game since its senior day. But for the rest of the season I hope he'll come off the bench to see the flow of the game, and to not pick up an early stupid foul.

I think they both start. It's senior night for Green and he's going to be back in the starting lineup for the stretch run. Releford only came off the bench because he was late for something leading up to the game.

Any news on Lacey? The fact that he was able to play at all on Saturday was encouraging, even though the ankle didn't hold up for long. They should probably sit him out for this one regardless and rest him up for the SECT.

I wouldn't be against sitting him but if he feels he's healthy enough to play, let him. I was surprised to see him warming up Saturday, but I was shocked when they posted the starting lineup on the scoreboard. Obviously a tough dude.

Just that he's questionable. I'm sure the more rest the better though, I'd hold him out of this one.

I agree. With Green back, don't play Lacey against AU and give him some PT off the bench against OM.

I would definitely like to see Lacey rested. I don't think we really need him Wednesday, we shouldn't.
This is a must win though. We are solidly in the tournament now but one horrible loss Wednesday and the Ole Miss game, and the SEC tournament look much more important.
Win and we're in IMO. Even if we lose at Ole Miss and lose our first SEC tournament game.

I agree. Losing Wednesday would be such a terrible resume loss and we'd lose all our positive momentum.

I have never seen any SEC team other than KY that had 4 freshman contribute in such a major way to a team's success during a run to the tournament. This team has come to count on the play of its freshmen as much or more than its upperclassmen.
These guys could produce a record amount of wins like the 2008 football class only in hoops.

I wouldn't mind seeing Lacey play about 5 minutes of the first half. Just enough to keep loose and stretch the ankle some, but not too much that sets him back.
I'd also like to see Gueye get more than 4 minutes.
I'd like to see Carl shoot more than 1 shot in 24 minutes of PT.

The big difference is that our guys are not one and done. Hopefully, at least some of them will graduate.

Totally agree with Crede. A win against Auburn guarantees at worst an 11 seed assuming we lose to Ole Miss and in the first round of the SEC tourney. Ideally it would go down this way or we would win out and end up a 6 or 7 seed. I think we actually might be in already even without another win although that could very well put us into one of the dreaded play in games in Dayton.

I saw Lacey tonight at the rec (with Engstrom, Eblen, Releford, Randolph, and Cooper)...he had a boot on and was limping pretty badly.
Also, I was shooting around before an intramural game, and Releford came up behind me and took my ball....but the joke was on him cause he missed the shot!
