The best part of Wednesday hopefully will not be some trophy presentation at halftime.
We need this win. Any choke job will nullify all three wins we've had over the past 9 days. And frankly, a win needs to look convincing.

I am admittedly very ignorant when it comes to basketball but don't we make the NCAA tourney if we win out?

This offseason will be crucial in his development. If he gains weight then he can be valuable especially on the defensive end of the floor.

His playing time has dwindled significantly the last month or so, and now this.

You implied that both will be gone. That's certainly not the case.
If I had to make a guess, I'd say McAfee, Denson, or Sullivan not coming back. Sullivan would be leaving to go overseas to play but I think he's the least likely of the 3 to leave.

Denson is great in transition and can get in the lane and finish. He just needs to learn to play defense.

Correct. Still doesn't negate the fact that we have to cut a scholarship before next year.

I wish we had the Frankie that we had two years ago before he hurt his knee. Before that injury he was more than just a jump shooter. Now, he's slower, not as great defensively, and is restricted to shooting jumpers and that's not his game. And how his FT percentage goes from 95% before injury to 68% after injury is beyond me.
