BCS was built to get the top two teams in the championship game and that's it.
I'm pretty sure they accomplished that this year.

The rankings look the same before the bowls took place, or maybe I'm missing something.

Those rankings are wrong. For one thing, the Harris Rankings weren't updated after the completion of the bowl games. If you replace the Harris rankings with the AP rankings after the bowl games, Bama is a clear #1. Here are the correct rankings.

You know, I was going to mention something about how there's a good reason why the final BCS standings never change after the games they're intended to determine, but this guy obviously knows dick-fist about football.
