There were some close calls, but ultimately, I'm glad the Mad Hatter held out on his secret playbook until the bama game. Should make things more interesting. What did surprise me though was when he gave Florida the game, because he knew Florida would beat USCe and that he would play them again in the SECCG. That way, when his LSU Tigers beat them, they would look much improved, vaulting them in the polls into the #1 spot.

Last years Alabama and LSU would go down as one of the most talented too except for the fact that they actually had competition during the season. If Alabama weren't so good, LSU would have looked unstoppable. If LSU weren't so good, Alabama would have looked unstoppable. It's all perception. 1995 Nebraska was a great team, but you make them out to be superheroes, when really, they were just a great team with no competition.

They played and killed a good Michigan team, DESTROYED an underrated Arkansas squad, and today, they held the vaunted Volunteer offense to just 13 points. People don't give Bama enough credit, they really are a team to look out for.
