Not sure if a playoff is the answer but it is time for changes...

Besides not losing means you do not need qualifiers...

Bring on Houston...

Your fanbase is sad and pathetic, with a few exceptions. I have never seen such vaginitis come from a fanbase of a 12 and 0 team. It's sad really.

BCS is great. A few bumps every now and then, notwithstanding.

Fact: Without the BCS, LSU doesn't win the national title in 2003 or 2007.

Fact: Without the BCS, LSU would control its own destiny at #1 in the major polls and there wouldn't be a rematch this year. LSU plays in the Sugar and wins, they are national champions.

But we have probably benefitted as much as any team with the BCS...with arguably the exception of Oklahoma.

well for one they should force NCG teams to win their conference first. oregon was screwed in 2001 as was USC in 2003.

second, as i have stated before, the sec is so good, all the good teams are NOt going to win their divisions in MOST years, especially when auburn and UF have good years. a playoff would help the sec continue it's dominance, so even if our sec champ lost in the playoffs, another team could roll to a NC. look how good LSU was at the end of 2006 along with UGA in 2007. UF and LSU were not the only teams that could have won it all in 06 and 07 IMO. sec west is so tough it would give other teams a shot in case they do not win the division, BUT, you still have to be top 8.

and yes, i want a playoff because i realize we are not going to win the west every year but usually we are good enough, we were top 5 in 05(won the west) and 06 and we did not win the conference those years but would have qualified for a playoff i believe.

And now the vaginally inclined will swoop in to shut you up. Thanks for the post though.

I see that you can't spell.

But other than that, why are you trashing the Alabama fans for this? We don't vote and have very little say in the matter. If the voters want a rematch, bitch to them, not us.

Sure, there are some, but most of us are less scared than pissed off at the ridiculous situation. LSU's road win over Bama been rendered absolutely meaningless by the fact that either team would be in the title game, no matter what happened that day. Not only that, but even worse, they are actually being penalized for it, by having to play another absolutely meaningless game. Maybe you guys are just a bunch of flaming crimson homers, but any objective football fan ca see that this whole thing is a complete farce, and has no rhyme or reason.

All that said, check LSU's record in New Orleans. There is NO WAY IN HELL the Tigers are losing to anyone in the Dome. Well, maybe if you dress the Saints up in red you'll have a chance. I'm not scared, and no matter what fans think, I guarantee a team with this much swagger won't be either.

What's more sad is the whining and lobbying of an 11-1 non-conference champion trying to get a rematch after they couldn't get it done the first time (at home).

How do you know there wouldn't be a rematch? 1996 UF/FSU. And that was the Sugar Bowl, btw.
