Looks like DT Kerry Murphy could be the next medical scholly for Bama

Reports are surfacing that his knee is in such poor condition that doctors have advised him that should it ever be injured again it could potentially impede him from being able to walk normally ever again.
Sad news. I think Bama fans had high hopes for him.

That's terrible. He was supposed to be a very talented guy on the D-line and after the time it took him to get to Bama, his brother, and now this. Truly sad.

I dunno if he is getting the dreaded medical cut, but I do know he has chronic knee problems.
He couldn't play every down for us, mainly because they have to limit his reps.

if it weren't for it being Murphy.
Bama/Saban has really been through a lot for this guy...a lot more trouble than anyone would have reasonably go through if his abilities weren't know. Kerry was slated to be a contributor next season...fact.
I 99% certain the medical issue in this rumor - if true - actually IS legit.

When he's been healthy, he's been very good. The thing is, he's never been truly healthy since arriving at Alabama. I'm sure we'll hear the usual "you cut him" cracks, but Murphy has struggled with both knees for some time.
