that they may very well take AU to the woodshed?
Im getting very nervous and after watching a lot of Oregon game highlights I can't figure them out at ALL...they are fast..damn fast....but Kelly goes for 2 a couple times a game, onside kicks for the hell of it, etc...Their defense is underrated too...

I've turned into a nega-aubie lately..but these quick little skinny f*ckers scare me

No. Au should win by 3 TD's at least.

Stupid logic...I'm worried about the game because of Oregon's speed...it has nothing to do with how well Stanford played vs VT...Teams do tend to get better as the season goes on...

I'm worried myself. The long lay off has me concerned that our D will regress back to the way they played at the beginning of the season as well. Slow, not tackling well and out of position. Seems like Arky's D was like that in the first half last night. There is no overcoming that against Oregon.

Maybe.

Stanford executes like no other team I've seen play this year. That was an impressive victory.

It'll be a good game that could go either way ... much like OU-LSU in 2003 and OU-Florida in 2008.

like every other Auburn game this year, it will be close at half. then auburn pulls away late by a couple of TDs

Chip Kelly calls plays like he's playing a PS3. And it works often.

Oregon's attacking style is fun to watch, but I don't think they have seen the likes of the line play they will run in to Monday...on both sides of the ball.

If I were an auburn fan, I would be terrified. I don't think Oregon will win, but they are DAMN fast. And extremely explosive. I think they have had more than 20 players score touchdowns this year. auburn will probably win, but I think it will be much closer than some people want to believe

I wouldn't put to much on Stanford's dominant win. VT is overated. I think Oregon will have trouble running the ball against Auburn, their QB will have to make some accurate throws and his has not really shown that ability. I think Auburn wins this going away in the second half.

Ditto on what Tigerfankaty just stated. Oregon will not be able to run the ball. QB will have to throw the ball to win the game. Auburn will win pulling away.

I would be nervous as hell. Auburn almost(in some some cases should have) got beat by about 3 or 4 teams that would've gotten smoked by Oregon this year. I think auburn will win, but I feel like Oregon is a mysterious wildcard.

Yeah but that was at the begining of the season. They really came together after the MSU game. If they make it a physical game I think they will wear down Oregon.

They are good with misdirection. I watched some highlights and I was often watching the wrong ball carrier....lol

There is gonna be alot of hands on some hips.

Stanford is significantly better now than they were at the beginning of the year when they played the Ducks, while Oregon seems to have regressed a bit and worn down. The game was also at Autzen, where Oregon is a much better team. If they played again right now, Stanford probably wins.

Auburn should roll. This is a perfect matchup for them. They'd have more problems with a team like Stanford that has an elite passing QB and physical line play

AU has had trouble with the quick little shifty runners all year a la Cobb from UK...but not too much trouble with the bulldozers like Lattimore and Ingram...so I see a lot of quick slants and misdirection runs...

Yeah but you saw what 2 weeks did to auburn during the 1st half of the IB. We are talking a month break here. This could really have an affect on auburn.

I like what I saw from Stanford's style of play, but they beat a very mediocre VT team. So it's hard for me to judge them against the rest of the top teams. To me Stanford's skill players looked a little slower than a Oregon or Auburn. I watched that Oregon vs. Stanford game and that is what I thought the differnce was in that game. Stanford seemed like they wore out from chasing all night.

Standford

Is this a joke, or a shot at Stanford. Sort of a put down, by misspelling their name.

I'm not a stickler for spelling, especially on a sports message board, but I'd like to get to the bottom of this.

I've seen it spelled this way A LOT of times here.
