This team had no Rolando Mclain type leader on the field. A guy who would make plays and get in your face if you screwed up.

you know nothing about Bama's program or our coach.

Now, go out there and win something for once so that AU can finally become an asset to the SEC instead of the perennial coat-tail riding pieces of crap for which AU has been known.

A question was asked and I gave my answer to that question.

Now, a couple of questions for you

how many bags of tater chips did you consume Friday and where does it hurt the most front or rear.

It happens. It's not that big of a deal. Just have to work on the problems and try again next year

No...they would die for him. We have too many winners on the team that have become complacent and they need to get some young blood in there that hasn't won anything.

Our young guys will step up next year and get it done hopefully.

Bama has the talent so I don't understand the youth on defense excuse. It seems the players just went thru the motions this year. Any thoughts on this?

It's a complicated scheme, that can be frustrating to watch young guys grow into. They've shown glimpses of how talented they are this year. They'll be an amazing defense in 2011.

I do not know any players at UA, but I can tell you that the people I know that are close to the program have a totally different opinion of CNS than most of the AU fans on this board. According to those in the "know" the players love Coach. Having talked to a couple of assistant coaches, they love Coach. I would say they are not tired of a coach that is winning more games than anyone else at this point. You guys kill me with all the "players are tired of CNS" crap! Wishful thinking but not likely

This. No Mike Johnson either. Chance Warmack is a great left guard, and Carpenter owns at left tackle... but they aren't leaders.

Hightower has skillz out the arse... but he's not a leader. Dareus? A beast, but not a leader. Someone will have to step up in a leadership role.

It'll probably be someone like #32. I had hoped Barron would, but it's not him either. Maybe Lester will assert himself next season. I dunno.

The image he portrays, and the man he really is, couldn't be farther apart. There's never been a cross word by a former assistant, player, or transfer about the man.

JC is solid, but he struggles at times in 2010 without big Mike next to him.

The Miami experience changed him. I think everyone knows that.

Physically, Warmack has been top notch. He holds down his spot with tenacity. He's not as cerebral as Johnson, and that's probably why you say this.

Warmack is our best run blocker, and when he pulls he kills people. He struggles at pass blocking, where Mike Johnson was top notch.

At the beginning of this season, everyone was talking about how losing McClain was the "huge thing". I was more worried about losing Johnson. He was the captain, and the glue that held our O-line together.

we had linebackers out the arse that could play... but a LEADER... on the O-line? I couldn't see one.
