Mississippi St. fans talking trash after winning their biggest bowl game in their history!!! OP is simply trying to start an argument...no one with half a brain would actually credit Mike Shula with the success Alabama has had over the past 3 seasons...Saban is the best recruiter and one of the best...

The Tuna and Belichick have both made comments to that effect...the best they have ever seen...and Belichick stated at the last coaching clinic he attended that CS was the best assistant coach he ever had...I take the word of two HF NFL guys over a couple AU fans...

I would suggest you guys talking about CS missing on players and "having" to sign JUCO players go watch Mr. Jesse Williams film before you run the mouth. The kid grew up in Australia, just started playing American Football a few years ago, came through JUCO because he was so raw. Williams is the #1 ...
you people kill me with the "Saban goes through all these assistants" crap. Check out the tenure of his current staff at Bama...KS = 8 yrs (LSU, Miami, Bama); JM = 3yrs; JP = 4 yrs; BD = 9 yrs; CC = 4 yrs; BB = 4 yrs; JP = 3yrs; BW = 7 yrs (MSU and Bama - 3 yrs at Bama) Do I need to keep going......
he will not be as good but the guy has been good without cam before...everyone needs to realize that this guy is to offense in 2010 what SOS was to offense in 1991...just because I am a huge UA fan does not mean I cannot recognize greatness when I see it...
MI will go this year...he has done all he can in college...my thought is that he will be the first back chosen, late first round. Comparing CN with VY is only good on the surface...did you notice this year when he was forced to stay in the pocket (UA and OM)...he still made plays with his arm. He...
GM is a smart 45 yr. old competitor...he will wait for a job with an opportunity to dominate (Texas Tech, UCLA, Oregon State, LSU). He will be at AU at least 2 more years...his offense will stay respectable/good and then he will take the jump. I, for one, could care less if he stays. He is a grea...
i would think lee is a second to third round pick...he has work left as courtney upshaw exposed in the iron bowl...but he has potential for a long career...
i agree he has work to do but it is not nearly the work left for TT or other dual threat guys of the past (VY). CN is tremendous in the pocket, great arm, good grasp of how a defensive scheme is designed and how to beat it, and he is obviously a leader. my thought is that the guy is better than Vick...
i am a life long bama fan...but the fact is newton is a steal at #8...he is worth top 5 money imo...

people ignore fact when talking about saban and his assistant coaches...kirby has been with him for 8 years...most of the coaches on this staff have been there since he has been at bama...guys come back to work for him even when they leave (williams, burton burns)...i personally talked with coaches ...
I would agree with what some have said...this team lacked mental toughness and that can be attributed to several factors. I am not excited because we finished 9-3 but the bottom line is CNS is the best coach/recruiter in the country...we will be in the hunt consistently with him at the helm....
If Coach was so hated by LSU players and fans, why does he still occupy such a place of reverence among the people of Louisiana? His former players helped him recruit in Louisiana early in our programs development (Luther Davis)...also former players send their kids to play for the man...give me a b...
No disrespect but when you have to change your uniforms for your biggest game, it is not as big as the IB. People who have been to both games (UM vs. Ohio St. and UA vs. AU) always say that the IB is he biggest game in the country...
I also want to say that this was a classic game in the greatest rivalry in CF! Congrats to AU for the big win...you guys deserve it because you never lost faith in your team. Here is to having another classic next year...but Bama winning. Congrats to AU and here is to you guys getting it done 2 more...
I do not know any players at UA, but I can tell you that the people I know that are close to the program have a totally different opinion of CNS than most of the AU fans on this board. According to those in the "know" the players love Coach. Having talked to a couple of assistant coaches, they love ...

the stereo type of our stadium as "quiet" stems from the years of older fans dominating the fan base. the new crowd is hungry for big games, big wins, and championships...we have a coach that actually encourages fan participation...and i believe this IB will be the loudest ever RTR!!!...

What is funny to me is when AU fans talk about our stadium as if it is quiet...it just shows how long it has been since they came to BDS or maybe that they have never been...the noise level this year is unreal with the entire stadium closed in...Friday is going to be unbelievably loud!!!!!...

do not try to reason with this guy...he is convinced that all those recruiting classes that did not even rate in the top ten are producing hidden gems...LSU is the most talented team in the SEC followed closely by U of A...

as a fan of UA, i would not trade one of our skill guys for one of yours other than the QB...i would think that is the opinion of just about all the top schools in the country...
