Yea but when you realize they are all waving poms poms like little girls, its not so scary anymore. Grown men waving pom poms kills any intimidation factor for sure.

As I watched the LSU game Saturday, I noticed quite a few LSU men waving their pom poms too. I used to never notice that, until the LSU posters on this board turned it into a little piece of irony.

Those are the ones...some of them at least. There were about 3-4 camera shots in a row of fans with their pom-poms.

I'm old enough to remember going to games when there was only the bottom tier and the upper deck on the press box side. It seems ginormous now.

I noticed the same, the "pom pom" argument falls in lockstep with the "you have more rednecks than us argument"....

What is funny to me is when AU fans talk about our stadium as if it is quiet...it just shows how long it has been since they came to BDS or maybe that they have never been...the noise level this year is unreal with the entire stadium closed in...Friday is going to be unbelievably loud!!!!!

Exactly. I've always been impressed with the crowd noise at Jordan Hare when I've visited. Very loud stadium. Although BDS may not be as consistently loud game to game, the place as AT LEAST as loud as JHS during big games. If BDS is on par with the 2005 Florida game with the now 18,000 extra seats then the place will be insanely loud on Friday.

the stereo type of our stadium as "quiet" stems from the years of older fans dominating the fan base. the new crowd is hungry for big games, big wins, and championships...we have a coach that actually encourages fan participation...and i believe this IB will be the loudest ever RTR!!!

HDR CAN be cool, but I don't like the way he processed those. Also, HDR got out of hand there for a while with kids all over the internet doing HDR shots.

But, it does have it's place. These are a couple I did. They're not, BDS, in case you're wondering.

+1

And its a damn shame the place gets covered with mouth-breathing, rednecks most Saturdays in the fall.

It's bad enough when any SEC fans calls another a redneck, but MSU, seriously?

You people dont know what good photography is anymore. too many people with no skills and butchering photos in PS, and ignorant people telling them that their pictures are amazing.

Especially one that uses a noise maker worn by a cow.
