It really is. I started making it at home. Man, the money I save! $10s of dollars a month. Game. Changer.
Good points.

I can’t help but wonder if part of our problem is the incentives that end up being created when you disproportionately give scholarship money and roster spots to international kids. Why improve development programs regionally when you don’t to?

I generally agree with it but I wonder what US junior tennis might look like if we had more college tennis opportunities for American players. I didn’t play tennis growing up but have kids that play competitively so I am learning as we go. I wonder if it is a talent issue or a developmental issue.
I always thought colleges having sports teams was to help give students that were good (to great) athletes more opportunity to play their sport while getting a college degree and also increase student/almuni support of the college. I don’t think they were intended to be profitable.

We have lost the plot.
Was a good match. Thought we had a chance with 5 of 6 first sets going our way.

If you are shocked by this, point your anger at politicians and your fellow citizens that allowed us to get to this point. You paid in for 35 years. I have paid in for 30. I accepted reality a few years back that I couldn’t rely on SS.

Please tell me where you think the line should be drawn on who gets fricked?
I am pushing medical field and engineering pretty hard. Will take awhile for ai to take many jobs in the heavy regulated med field plus population still getting older. I also think engineering will still provide solid returns.
Borges played about as well as he could and had half a chance.

Will be interesting to see if Paul can recover after not playing a lot recently. Great match.
Yeah, he seemed to go downhill in late 2nd or early 3rd. Had to have tweaked something.

Happy for Borges though. He is having a solid career.

Either a doctor or healthcare administration.
Yep. Like all sports, I keep waiting for our coach to get poached.

I have been following Borges. He is having a good career
With 3 kids playing juniors now, I have started following tennis at all levels. If you like tennis, college tennis is a lot of fun.

Really helps that more high level players are going the college route.
Finally get all the kids out of the house and a comet hits the planet…my lawn is never going to be well manicured is it ?!?
In this case, the market is not free and it’s drunk.

I guess it depends on perspective and timing.

State is one of the few SEC schools that has a rational fan base and Low expectations. If you are a good game day coach and can develop players, you can make great money and look good simply by averaging 7 wins a year. Then take a step up or be on a position for State to have to pay Top 15 salary to keep you.

How many schools offer that?
Thanks for sharing.

I suspect a lot of comments will be political, apeshit slinging stuff. But, it does show we suck at building great cities/places today. There are some great new places but nothing compared to what we valued in city building from the past
Thanks for posting. Started reading it last night. Good read so far.

I have a few juniors playing and one with long term aspirations. This book will do him some good
Or does it? Our ROI has been decent. I would hate to know we had to double our revenue to get kicked in the nuts by poor ole State.

Ended up taking 45 to get thru security. Made it 5 min before closing gate. Maybe a little too tight.
Talking with a few, it seems that early Sat time is busy
Pretty sure all have carry on.
