1.The Iron Bowl has never been a track meet.

2.The team that runs the ball most effective has won this game more times that not.

3.Special teams play an important part in this game, always have, always will.

4.Pressure is all on Auburn, everything is on the table for them, can they deal with it like Bama did last year?

Item 1 favors Bama, item 2 favors Auburn, item 3 is a push, item 4 favors Bama(because of home field and AU players never being in this spot before).

All that being said..Bama 24 Auburn 17

There sure is alot of love for Bama in here. Im surprised anyone would pick us with our stale offense and brain fart defense.

We have the talent but they havent shown me a whole lot this year. Good thing I have to work that day so I dont have to watch most of it.

And yes I legitimately think Bama can win. Anyone that thinks otherwise is drinking the haterade.

Cam drives down for the winning score only to screw it up.

No reason to think that Cam does not play. He is truly a difference maker.

I think that it will be a battle similar to LSU and Auburn wherein Newton makes too many plays and Auburn wins by maybe a TD or more.

42-35 Auburn.

Don't see us stopping Cam at all, plus the fact we haven't ran the ball well since mid season, could be a long day...

Bama is giving up yardage, but less than 13 ppg. Auburn is giving up over 24 ppg. Auburn will double our average, but Bama will score closer to our scoring average of 32 ppg than Auburn will get to theirs.

I bet with my head and not my heart.

Bama has to hold the Barn under 24 to win. I don't think they can.

Alabama can score more than 24 if they have a decent gameplan.

Resist the urge to run the ball often and air it out. If McElroy doesn't fold under defensive pressure and can have a halfway decent game passing the ball to Jones and Maze, Alabama will move the ball.

Stopping Auburn's offense though, I do not think is possible.
