You'd have to be pretty naive to think that this story just came out of thin air.

I don't think anybody hates Auburn. I certainly don't. I guess I just find it really hard to believe that someone would start this type of scandal out of disdain for the team or for the fact that Cam Newton - all by himself - has kept Auburn undefeated throughout this season.

probably. its pretty entertaining watching the anti-auburn people (95% of this board) sitting around creaming their spiderman underoos when some jackleg posts to his twitter account another new unsubstantiated rumor. as quick as they clean themselves up they come to start a new thread and then post in each others threads classic lines like "BOOM! HEADSHOT!"

imagine the disappointment if all of the "unnamed sources" turn out to be a bunch of hooey.

lol

And I`m not a moron. Your a tool for believing every piece of shite article that has come out. These articles have no substance and are only getting attention because of their jaw dropping titles. I`m not believing all the pro-auburn stuff either, but its only put out there to calm down auburn fans who are freaking out. The entire story/scamgate is only held together by the belief that cam/cecil and/or auburn are complete idiots and scum of the Earth.

if the ncaa found out that schools were bidding for a young man's services but lost out, youre damn right there would be penalties involved. what would they be? hell, the ncaa makes this stuff up as they go along, they couldnt even tell you right now.

I wasn`t talking to you. I was laughing at your post and responding to someone else who called me a moron.

A southern reverend who has done nothing wrong except raise one successful son (Cecil Newton Jr) and has done his best to direct Cam in the right direction. If he had a criminal record or any history of foul play in his life, ESPN would of had that shite out by now.

Cam made a mistake. If all of my dirty laundry was aired I`d be called a piece of shite too.

FTR, I could care less what happens with AU. I think if you guys cheated to get Cam, you need to get in trouble. If you're clean, you're clean. UF doesn't have to deal with AU yearly, so I don't really care. The only thing that irks me in this entire Camgate is AU fans trying to pawn off all the issues on UF and Meyer originally. Also, your fan bases inability to realize that the insiders and writers on your pay sites are just as much garbage as Thayer Evans, and just as much one sided. I like Cam as a person, and had the opportunity to meet him when he was at UF. He came off as a very genuine and nice kid. I cheered for him to mature at Blinn, and it seemed to have happened. He grew up not only as a QB, but as a person. I hope for Cam's sake, that's he's clean.

No one is hating on Auburn because of it's success. Alabama was successful last year and no one claimed they were cheating. Usually when there is smoke there is fire that's why people are hating on Auburn. Plus it's happened there before. Enjoy it while you can buddy.
