With the news of CU potentially going after Les

Would this be looked upon as a good thing by LSU fans that Les would be gone, or kind of a slap in the face that an inferior program took the coach? Also, if he's so shitty why is he on this shortlist?
**Note-this has literally no chance of happening.

I would have to say he is every bit the idiot most people think he is if he were to leave LSU for Colorado. That being said, no way he takes a job like that and leaves a top teir SEC school like LSU with its recruiting base. I would have to think that if he were to take it, it would be because som higher ups maybe convinced him to.

Same situation as Ron Zook.....UF didn't want him, but an inferior program did. Only difference is both sides of this situation got what they wanted. LSU, at worst, will be 9-4 this year. I doubt Les would get fired for that.....now Crowton, there's a guy that will be unemployed at season's end.

I'm not an LSU fan so i had to read a few down to see it was Colorado; are there other CUs? Is Clemson called CU? just curious

wrong 8-4 should get him fired. why bc at one point we were 7-0. that means we went 1-4 for rest of the season with our only win being ulm and 4-4 in the sec.
ive heard 8-4 is the number that will get him fired. also had the tenn blunder and the 4th and 6 at auburn and it should end his career at LSU.
9-3 he probably gets the chance to ax crowton

I said 9-4....that's a 9-3 regular season (losses to Auburn, Arky, and Bama) with a loss in the bowl game. If he goes 8-4 in the regular season then I think his seat would be very hot, but he'd still be given a chance to turn things around.

nah he has more than enough chances and decided to stick with crowton. 9-3 with this team shouldn't be enough to save him but then again we have pussy duke boy for ad so who knows.
the taf will need to put alot of pressure on him for shite to happen.

he'll be back next year barring a loss to UL-Monroe, but Crowton will need to be fired
next year he has to at least win the West

To give my weak answers to your questions:
I think it would be good if he was gone, it is no doubt that he is a great recruiter, but I think he is too loyal to people - whether it is coaches or players - for this level of competition. I think that someone like Miles is not a terrible ego maniac and could make us all feel better with very talented coordinators, but he believes too much in what is not working, and still thinks he can spark some sort of fire. In other words I think he is a combo of Dale Brown and Cholly Mac.
Slap in the face - not a slap in the face, but we would look fairly spoiled. But there again, not as bad as if he got fired after 3 stratight 9-3 seasons.
Shortlist for CU (if plausiable) - he has coached there, and internet runors claimed he liked it in Boulder. Along with that, you have to think that he is getting as tired of us as we are of him. Program from a very laid back area, new to a conference, with their media and fanbase vs. an SEC program, that is leveraged to the hilt with the upper deck rennovations, a rabid fanbase and a very critical media.
this is the only way I could see him in this situation.

Simple Jack isnt going anywhere unless hes forced out in some under the table kind of deal with LSU and CU; or gets fired which isnt happening.
Dude has won, people can talk about theoretical situations with LSU "would have won this" all the want, but on paper you cant fire the guy
