I assume you are talking about the south endzone where the greeks sit. The rest of the student section usually fills up early and doesn't leave until the game is over.

Nick says I think I might like that, hey old timer when you get ready to move to Florida, been there, hated it, why don't you recommend me for the job? Just whenever, I'm available.

i so know. i go to a home game at least once a season.. i know, it sounds lax. but by GOD, every time i see the god damn greek section, it's empty.
really, the student section isn't quite as bad as the greek section. at least the students are enthusiastic. the greeks just suck arse at everything. they show up, they don't cheer, they leave early, they boo frequently... and they're generally football retarded.
True Story!
My cousin was a Sigma Nu at Alabama in the 80's. coach Bryant was also a Sigma Nu at Alabama. Coach Bryant was scheduled to come and have lunch with them one Sunday afternoon after church. He arrived at the house early and was wearing a coat and tie. He opened the front door of the house and walked in and they were in shorts and flip flops and they were drinking. My cousin said he took one look at them and he turned around and walked outside, got in his car and left. He later told the they he was ashamed of their disrespect and he wouldn't be back.

This is the correct answer. The non-Greek students usually get there well before kickoff. Frats send the pledges early to hold sections of seats, then show up late.

I don't know if you went to Alabama or not, but don't lump all students together. I suffered through the Shula years for my college experience at Alabama, and the "regular student" section was always full (sometimes standing room only). I can't say the same for the Greeks, and their block seating.

Lulz at pigs and Petrino. I'm not sure there's a shadier coach in the business. You do realize Petrino was waiting on the Bama job in 07?

block seating.
Needs to be done away with. If they want to watch the game with their friends they can get there early enough to find seats or they can stay at home and watch on TV.

they will know after Saturday night when they watch that crimson machine at work. We are almost back to Bryant 1970's Alabama football. HE has built a machine like some college football fans have never witnessed. I have seen this machine roll before. Young football fans 30 and under do not know what their parents know. You can see it in the faces of older SEC fans, they know what has been allowed to occur in Tuscaloosa and they can't believe it has happend again.

It's called "student organization seating" now

It's still a university. The SGA has a good bit of power in keeping block seating. FWIW, it's not just for the Greeks.

As long as he keeps is discrete, I would hate to watch the sportscenter loop where he is not taking the job he just took.
