It’s kind of astounding how this lineup that was proven top to bottom went ice-cold across the board.
I want to say it was something supernatural, but plate approaches have been really bad and nobody can hit anything that isn’t straight and in the zone. Starting out 0-1 almost every batter in not going to end well and situational hitting is gross. On the opposite end, first pitch fastball to get ahead backfired for the second straight series. We look stupid and incapable of pitching. Please don’t swing at a first pitch heater over the plate is a horrible strategy.
