Of the century. Wins championship, guilts the admin into investing millions in the program, upgrades stadium, goes pro for more money and Tennessee is back to being a poverty program again lol

stupid. Vitello took a program in the gutter and turned them into a monster. and got rewarded for it with an offer to manage the fricking San Francisco Giants. nobody is turning that down.

I can't speak for ol' Captain Dalton over there, but I will say I have found it HIGHLY amusing for LSU fans to brag about beating unranked Tennessee for the series win while lambasting Alabama fans for finding joy in being ranked in the top 10 in baseball and #1 in softball.

But with ol' Captain Dalton, talking his shite, Bama did get swept by a team LSU beat 2-1 in series.
And that same team that swept Bama lost another series to Missouri 2-1

It's because of how big of a jackass Tennessee's fan base is. You know that. I shouldnt have to explain that to an Alabama fan. If anyone hates Tennessee as much as Kentucky does, its Alabama.

Your fans have been running down college baseball on here for years because historically you have sucked at it. You should be excited. Just stop pretending you don't care about it.

no one is doing that in that thread. The only thing some LSU fans have said is it's a shame that so few of you care about those sports given how good they've been. That's not lambasting people being happy about it. it's lambasting Alabama fans for not having more people care about it

That was about a half inning conversation amongst the boys gathered around the TV at our Easter gathering.
LNS is back to how we always remembered it:
- chilly weather
- less than half filled stadium of fans who look forced to be there
- an offense that can’t hit very well
- a bullpen that can’t get anyone out

coaches an extra 100+ games a year, has to live in the bay area, and taxes are high as hell and he is only making 500k more than he was at Tenn. I could see a lot of people turning that down
