He gets his shxt rocked and his right fielder makes a LEGENDARY (shoutout to Shady Sanders) catch, robbing Monster Milam of a dong. Certainly he’s going to tip his cap to the man that made the play, right? NOPE, this thug is jumping up and down, pounding his chest acting like he made the play. Sit your arse down and hold this L. Bum ahh. STTDB

Am I mistaken or when they pulled him did they show him in the dugout a little later in street clothes and a backpack, like he was heading to the library? I thought that was really odd.

Perhaps he was actually celebrating Shady Sanders' catch by not allowing one of his pitches to go the yard?

Serious question: What's happened over the last few years to make the culture of college baseball so... douchey?

I don't follow the sport very closely [insert Bama baseball joke here], but some of the clips I see online really surprise me with the levels of taunting, showboating, and generally unsportsmanlike behavior. There seems to be a very particular culture in the top tiers of college baseball normalizing behavior that I thought was discouraged at the pro level. (But hey, maybe I'm wrong about that too?)

It’s a reflection of today’s society.

The RF made a fantastic play and Mack controlled the tigers bats. He has not had a great season so he was excited.
Slander should have not pulled him unless he was hurt

It’s not just college. The bat flip stuff really broke open with the Bautista one in the ALCS vs. the Rangers. The difference is that the players can address it later, like Odur did at second a year later, and keep it at a reasonable level. Whereas when will Kentucky get that chance vs. Dardar? And you could say that was in response to the Kentucky players staring down our pitchers whenever they walked. Easy to peacock when you’re not afraid of getting hit in the mouth

The people you see playing college ball were born in like 2007. They've grown up their whole adolescent lives watching shite like that on YouTube or tiktok so they want to emulate it.

I mean I don’t want to defend the kid but he seemed pretty excited to not have to carry giving up a homer. Also in the dugout when the RF made it in, mack bear hugged him. I thought the celebration was a little over the top but I think it was genuine relief and appreciation.

I think it’s just the generation that grew up with travel ball and social media.

They spent their childhood being celebrated and their moms posting their “careers” all over the internet. You don’t know you’re a douche when you’re a 12 year old boy. (You are)

Used to be, the coach was your only connection to the sport. And he had no problem calling you a little shite. Now, your mom runs the show and puts you on Facebook/Tik Tok. Causes these dipshits to think they’re ARod when they’re like 12.

A little? It was beyond over the top and made the victory even that much sweeter...

He’ll be on the Savannah Bananas in no time.

You would’ve thought LSU was playing Aggy with all of the complete flamers prancing around the field

It's so true. I used to work with one of those types. It was all I could do to bite my tongue.

Nailed it. Society run by women. Same reason soccer is good and football is bad. Same reason the entire country rolled over in 2020 and became like crate trained puppies during covid…because mommy was scared. Same reason public schools have no order or discipline…the retired football coach isn’t managing the school the former third grade woke female is leading the school.

That kind of shite doesn’t bother me, so yeah “a little”. The Kentucky dipshit staring down the pitcher after a walk bothers me much more.
